Remarks

I have chosen this college because if its degree mbatech which is integrated mba and btech and i was getting computer science stream in this college, also the brand name is much popular and the studies are good often.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is much good if compared to btech as it is mixture of managerial and technical streams. The curriculum is little bit tough but its good. We get industrial visits also. There are many good faculties here.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I had opted for a college project but have done many other internships during my college years so far.

Placement Experience

Here many companies come. The companies which come are of great value and big companies like EY, HPE , godrej, jio and many more. The placement department plays a major role in placement as there is pre placements training and many more events.

College Events

The campus life is quite good as it has greenery all over and the events take place oftenly whether it is technical or cultural or management fests. The fests are quiye big and students take participations more oftenly .

Fees and Financial Aid

No I havent took scolarship but it gives fees cut-off to those person which are of sc , st , obc , army geberal category and others. I havent took the scolarship and also there is no availability of any kind of loan facility.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is full of facilities along with wifi , playing grounds of cricket football ,tennis , table tennis , badminton , volleyball. The library size is also big and it has lot of books for all type.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is quite good and the rooms are big and wifi adapted and fully air and sunlight adapted too. All person are accomodated in hostel only and no pg's are available. The hostel facility can be availed at the time of admission or upon college starting.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

College offers campus placement on an average of 5 to 6 lakh per year. Not so good. Companies like MI Tech solution,Q-spider,Latent and many more have comed for placement.Had to try for off campus for better offer.This companies before my admission .I think in future companies with high package will come. Students can seat in campus placement from 5th to 6th semester.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

From 3rd year , internship offers starts for us , Placements are available but you need to score Good cgpa atleast above 8.5 , than only you're selected for interview, average package is around 3 lakh -5lakh highest can go upto 10 lakh to 13 lakh my plans are to to get a stable job after betch , or to prepare for gate and get a degree in Mtech from iit .

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
