My college review

The college management is okay and does a good job in the overall management of college.

The course is divided to 8 semester through the 4 year course. There are 2 internals and one semester examination in each semester. There will be also 2-3 lab subjects in each sem so that students are well equipped in practical knowledge to. The curriculum is is almost good. Not 100% though. It needs more refinement in the industrial skill development of students.

There is a dedicated wing for placement related activities many companies like TCS, wipro, Rapid solutions, Bosch, Amazon, Sutherland conduct their annual placement drives in college and many students from final semester used to get placed. There is empowerment training done for placements.

The main technical event conducted is the Tech fest where each branch conducts the exhibition on their innovation and creativity. Festivals like onam Christmas diwali holi are also celebrated There will be an annual sports meet and annual arts fest the students get good opportunity to exhibit the talents and are much appreciated.

My program fee is almost 45000 per Semester. There is option for getting lot of scholarship if you have eligible criteria. There is an erp system which displays each students fee details attendance and academics through which we can pay fees online. The fee structure is transparent. It is different for different seats like merit seats management seats and NRI seats.

There are scholarship offered by the college but due to some technical reasons I couldn't get one. The eligibility criteria is based on marks and income of parents you have to submit correct income proof during admission and entrance exam. Governmet scholarship can be applied online, college level scholarship forms can be filled and filled in college itself.

Gender ratio is almost same in all batches or branches But in Mechanical branch the no. of girls are very low. There is Lab subject 2-3 in every semester and it is conducted as per the schedule. Appropriate orientation classes on are also conducted sometimes. Arts and sports are also conducted annually with a good participation from students. Students from all the parts of kerala studies in the college, students from outside kerala are also present but the numbers are less.

There is presence of almuni network in the college. The seniors are friendly and helpful, they guide us in many way helfull in getting study materials.

I got selected in 2018 after 12, keam( kerala entrance) is the entrance exam. There is also other seats under management which can be availed directly contacting the college. The admission will be open after the results of 12 are published. I opted Btech computer science because it has the most job opportunity in btech courses.

There are almost 25-35 lectures and proffeesors in the course (Btech computer science) all of them are Btech graduates and post graduates. Many are also Phd holders. The lectures are somewhat okay in the teaching and making clear the subject. There can be some exceptions. I dont think they have many induatrial experience or certifications.
