I chose this college because of its brand name and the placement record. The college is very famous for its technicality and academic discipline. The teaching staff is really good and the student crowd is awesome. The placement of PICT is 100%. All students get placed by the end of their course.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. The syallbus was completely up to date. Industrial exposure was about to be provided this time but unfortunately couldn't due to this Covid Outbreak. 2. The teachers are always helpful, approachable, and eager to solve ones doubts. 3. They are knowledgeable and qualified in their respective subjects and use various techniques and ideas to make the concepts clear. 4. The theoretical knowledge will never make a student industry ready. Practical knowledge is must. Yes, support and guidance is provided for that too. 5. One teacher who proved to be very helpful and supportive and I would like to mention her name. "Prof. Jayashree Jagdale". She supported and guided me whenever I faced any doubts or problem in my studies.

Placement Experience
The best part of PICT is definitely it's placement. I won't put some catchy or attractive words here. Instead I will just deliver the facts. 1. The placement of PICT is 100%. All students get placed by the end of their course. 2. The Highest package this year was 38 lakhs (Offered by PhonePe), the lowest was around 3 lakhs. Average package being around 8-9 lakhs. 3. Top recruiting companies in PICT are Avaya, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Barklays, UBS, TCS digital, ZS associates, HSBC, Rakhten, Amdocs, Goldman Sachs, Bizreach, PhonePe, Amdocs, Red Panda, Persistent, Vodafone, Accenture. 4. The Placement process is very smooth. And even if anyone encounters any problem, the TNP cell is always there to help you out. 5.PICT alumni network is very strong. You can connect with number of alumni for applying to any job or intership of various roles.
College Events
1. Campus life is short and sweet. A little campus of around 4 acres which includes all the infrastructure. 2. There are lots of technical fests happening in PICT like INC, credenz, Pulsion where you will inculcate a lot of management, technical and interpersonal skills. 3. These technical events are quite grand as there is a footfall of around 3000-4000 students visting for the events. This is because of the brand name that PICT holds. 4. These events encourage the participation from all students throughout the college for volunteering as well as attending th event.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various scholarships (Government and private) are offered based on your merit and category. I availed private scholarships provided by my caste authorities. Education Loans can also be availed by various banks who tied up with the college.
Campus Life
College Infrastructure. 1. In terms of Academics and only Academics, PICT's infrastructure is at top level. Adequate computer labs with ample of PCs, classrooms, Library, Reading Hall isbig enough to accommodate 400 students at a time, Digital Library, Seminar Halls, Auditorium, WiFi facility is available. Apart from Academics and curriculum, PICT lacks a lot in other infrastructure like sports and co-curricular activities. 2. The hostels are quite good. They have been renovated recently. Food quality is just okay. Not too good, not too bad. Sports facilities are available but to a certain extent.

The seats are few and generally awarded on the basis of merit and first come first serve basis. I guess the rentals needs to be paid in advance or in 2 installments.
