This is the only government college of Food Technology in Maharashtra. It provides all equipment for practical knowledge and books. The previous admission process was based on board percentage but now it is based on entrance exams taken by the state gov.

The faculty of this college is highly qualified. Because of gov. Institute the staff is selected according to their qualification, every teacher is Ph.D. completed. And they help students to improve all skills Mid Terms exams taken two months after college start and final exams after five-month. The classrooms and exam halls are facilitated with CCTV cameras.

Yes, the college offers Inter ship to students which are interested. It also provides EARN WHILE LEARN scheme for students who are in need. In this, they provide financial help to starts its processing. College also provides a market for them. In academics, it contents Experiential Learning Programme in which students manufacture their product and sell it in the market.

In the last semester, students have to attend training in any food industry. The college provides the best food industries to students where they can complete their training and can also join the industry and starts their career. The package is not fixed but the salary increase as per the experience and ability of the student. 100 % of students get a job which is graduated from this college. I have decided to join the industry and continue the job.

Fees are different as per cast. Turion fees for one semester are just 3000 Rs. And hostel fees for one semester is just 6000 Rs. The college has special scholarship department with more 5 staff which helps student in scholarship problems and assist them through the whole time. All government, as well as private scholarships, are available in the college as per the eligibility of students. College provides campus selection to graduating students with stipend starts from 7000 to 15000 Rs.

Hostel exists in the area of 4 acres with 2 acres of playground. It consists of a small Gym, TT faculty, and its own study hall. Hostel facilitates mess. And the water purification system. One room for two students with each bed and each one cupboard. It also provides a large screen LCD TV in the TV hall.
