Know Your College

1. I choose this college as it was suggested by my mom's brother as he's a director of Analytics in Mediagilitic. I heard that the college rank was increasing before my admission. So I thought it would be a good idea to study at such a reputed University. Also, it has some of the bad aspects which were beyond my expectations like my campus(Campus 1, Koel Campus) was situated outside and far from the main and beautiful campus. Also, my hostel(KP4) is also having bad facilities compared to other Campuses. 2. First thing was filling up the form which starts generally from February-March and ends up in April. You will get a date and place which you have to select for the entrance exam which was taken online, and there at the exam hall we all were provided with separate PCs and a time was allotted which was 2 hours. Here the main process starts where you will get a mail from the college regarding the further process of admission. The fun fact is that everybody gets a chance for admission.

I choose this course according to my 10+2 as I had taken commerce but I was having an interest in computer and programming so I thought It would be a great idea to pursue BCA as anybody from a math or Computer background can pursue this course. As if we talk about the faculty members, they are good enough to make you understand that you have to score according to your capabilities as you have no pressure that you have to score more than 9 CGPA or SGPA. Seeing about the facilities knowledge and their qualifications, most of them had done Ph.D. and masters and some of the facilities have more than 15 years of teaching experience so it's quite easy for them to understand any student. Talking about the exams and the difficulty levels, exams are not so tough to pass. You can get passed easily without studying much harder if you are attentive and listening to the professor's lecture as they prove easy study materials.

Yes, It provides an internship. The internship program was offered by Internshala. There is always a person who can help you with your internship programs. Which you will get after you join the college.

Placements in my course is 100%. And in other course also it's good. The highest salary paid for my course was 5 lakhs annual. My plan is different. After getting a degree in graduation I will do masters.

If I talk about my course fee structure it's like you have to pay every six months, which means every semester wise. That is divided into 3:- 96000(Semester fee)+17500(Mess fee)+28000(hostel fee)=Total 1,42,500 per semester which is quite high for some of the middle-class families or parents. Apart from this, you have to pay an extra 1000 every semester at the time of the end semester exam which is exam fees. But also there I one positive aspect of the course that if you score the highest marks in every semester you will get a scholarship. There are no financial assistance facilities in KIIT. Also at the time of admission, you have to pay 75000 extra fees. But yes the placements ka excellent in my course where everybody gets the opportunity.

Life at Campus is pretty enjoyable for every student. But there are some restrictions in hostels. Their I a KIIT fest which is organized every year where celebrity comes to perform. Also, every year fresher's party is also organized for newcomers. You will also get new books every semester with no extra cost, also in the first year you will also get a laptop for no extra cost and if I talk about the laptop it's so nice you can even play games also like Rainbow 6 siege, valiant, etc. The campus also provides 24hours of WIFI facility and a fully air-conditioned classroom with digital teaching. Every month every individual campus organizes different activities.

Every hostel of every different campus are different. Some have more rooms and some have less according to campus. But yes college provide hostel with AC and non AC and the mess is in every hostel. Meals are different in every campus but in my case meal is not so good. At the time of hostel registration you have to pay 15000 extra for hostel admission. Every hostel has also a WIFI facility.
