Maharaja institute of technology is well know college in and around mandya and Mysore. It has bus facility from all city's private and even government bus are arranged from college to drop at mentioned location. Own vehicle and cellphones are not allowed at college campus. Admission takes place through CET, comedy, management quota at the month of June and July after the results and ranking are announced college starts from August 1st. Staff and non teaching staff are very cooperative , library , canteen , book stores , chat shops are available on campus area. Spacious class room with interactive and digital sessions . lab are well equipped. Students are mentored by lecturers. Extra curricular activities are also included . Encouragement to sports , and cultural activities are given. State and national level competition are entertained. College fest is organized every year where celebrities are invited and many inter and intra college competition are held to support students

I choose electronics and communication many other courses are available. Electronics and communication engineering is basically both hardware and software so I choose that. 1:15 is the faculty: student ratio. Mentors are allotted to look after each students curriculum. Faculty qualification is MTech and many HOD and senior lectures are done with PhD . Some of the faculty are even doing research for PhD. Internals were conducted . three internals plus one improvement internals is conducted. Test are conducted on regular basis. Even lab internals and test are conducted prior to exam for better understanding and preparation. Final exam is conducted from vtu at the end of each sem

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit on campus and off campus. Few of them are Wipro , Infosys, TCS, vetch, jenpact, Capgemini, vtiger, Accenture, robosoft, Cognizant, BSNL, Qspider and many more . placement is good at college many get placed every year. Highest package is 12lakh offered for software developer role . 80% get placed form all departments. Some times 100% placement is also done depending on the year and the companies visited. I have got selected for the company on campus and will work after degree

85000 is the fee per year. Government CET fee is 55000 and college fee including uniform, library, internet charges , transportation, exam fee , is 30000. There is no hike in fee for next 4 years until degree completion . Every year a fee of 85K is paid . Scholarship is available. Placement campus, stipend are also available

Mahadasara is conducted at the end of each year in even sem . Where students from all departments join together and celebrate doing programs for a week many competitions, cultural events, tech quiz, are conducted inter and intra department during this college fest. IEEE and IETE group are there for tech information. Library books are given for each student for the whole sem and students and even use computer internet magazine latest journal from college library. Classroom has good lighting and ventilation with all digital teaching equipment's. Sport and extra curricular activities are supported football volleyball basketball ground are available for students. Both boys and girls are encouraged for extra curricular activities.
