Remarks

This is a type of national institute, is the best college in Nagpur city and very near from my home as compared to other NITs. I knew the placement data and overall ranking of this college and this is so satisfying that I could not able to deny some taking admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is not that bad, I mean mining is very essential to run this country's needs. Many government related companies and institutes are there to afford job for the students. Syllabus which the professor teach is very deeply taught and and will be helpful in future as well while doing jobs.

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 542800 per year

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities in our colleges and not that bad but for our department, it is. Many companies visits for our courses but they not provide much satisfacting jobs.

College Events

Events are held regularly on different subjects. I've always admired by the event management system of this college. I can say that my college is technically at higher levels and so the technical events are also held regularly. There is no religion discrimination and every festival is celebrated by all the people out there.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC, under the divided groups on basis of income, is offered by our college. Fee remission is also one of the scholarships offered.

Campus Life

Labs are moderate, libraray is not useful for the people of our branch as the books preferred by our professor is not available in the library. Wi-fi system is available in every college hostels and and the department and also in the library. Sports facilities is good enough.

Hostel Facilities

Many says that if you are in a college and not living in hostel, your life is in vain, and it's correct. Our college hostels I could say are not the best but l when it comes to enjoyment and people there, it's the best. Infrastructure is also good enough. Only the thing which bothers us, is the hostel fee amount, its somewhat costly.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT.
