Tanushree T K's Review On Vellore Institute Of Technology - [VIT] Chennai, Chennai

Actually I have a great passion towards fashion and I just got a news that there is fashion technology in VIT Chennai. So I thought to get into Vit I have to write the entrance exam. And I did the exam and I got a score and I was called to attend the counseling. So finally I got a seat for fashion technology. And then I came to know that for fashion technology it's not necessary to write vitee. Like VIT also conducted a separate counseling for fashion technology. But, some how I got the seat through vitee itself. So that's not an issue. So on the 1st day of orientation, I just came to college with my mom and during the orientation we gained some knowledge about Vit. And I also met my new college Mates, they were so friendly. And even the faculties were very kind to us.

In VIT there are so many opportunities and through those opportunities we can gain more knowledge. They had a fully flexibile curriculum, so the students can choose there course and and they can even choose the faculties. And in VIT we also have practical class and project based classes. So allover we have to get 160 credits to get graduated. And the academics are really good. There are different different faculties handling different different subjects. The faculties are really good at teaching and also kind to the students. They also have a good concern towards each students.

VIT provides a good placement opportunities.At First the students get internships and in the final year many huge companies come and offer job placement. Here, in VIT they train students to face campus interviews. So that each and every students could get placed in a good job.

Campus life is really enjoyable. In VIT there are so many events held like technovit, vibrance etc, just for encouraging the students to showcase their talents and some times even students from other colleges takes part in many events at VIT. In VIT there are so many clubs for students to express their talents and to learn some extra curricular activities. VIT always try to make the students comfortable with learning.
