Remarks

Merit is one of the most important factors that became instrumental in making me go fir this university and besides that Northeast of India is the place to be due to rich diversity that must be embraced.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything right now at NLU, Assam is great. Although there were problems at the inception but it needs to be taken into consideration that Rome wasn't built in a day and the best fruit takes the longest time to reap.

Placement Experience

2.5

Evolving' is the word I'd like to take recourse to. There is a well established Recruitment and Internship Coordination committee which is presently in full fledged action and with time the University will boast of a nice placement structure.

College Events

Campus boasts of one of the most beautiful establishments across NLUs throughout the country with Brahmaputra at the front and beautiful hills at the back, which makes the place worth being at along with other beautiful places to hangout at.

Probably after last semester students get eligible for campus placements, there are no. Of company that visits Our university such as apollo etc2 40Lakh PA is the average package, My plans after getting degree is to di intern and after that i want to do specialized in sports physiotherapy because sports physiotherapy earns a lot and i might setup a clinic too!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers should condier the students who do not understand Assamese and try to use it as less as possible during the class for the convenience of the student who do not understand the language at all. The frequency and timing of the exam is quite good and I would like it to be the way it is.

This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU. The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. Course Curriculum Overview:

Learning about different forms and genres of literature was what peaked my interest to choose this course. The works of various influential literature writers that are included in the curriculum are relevant but could be a bit overwhelming at first. The length of the curriculum sometimes put the professors in pressure to complete their assigned syllabus and skip a bit. And some who don't skip, are unable to complete their sullabus. The curriculum may be improved by reducing the some of the contents.

A Grounded College Experience

Basically, I took the CLAT exam, and in that, I got selected for NLU Assam. There were other options of other NLUs too, which are lower in ranking than NLU Assam, but my family decided that I should go here only because some of my close relatives, mainly my mother's side relatives, live here too, which made the place a good option. So other than NLU Assam, I did not applied in any other colleges as such. The admission to my college takes place through the CLAT examination only. The eligibility is to clear the exam and have a reasonable ranking in it. I am not aware of the cutoffs because it varies every year and more or less also depends on the CLAT consortium. My overall admission experience was good. There was a lot of academic processess which was troublesome but otherwise it was good only....Read More
