NLU Assam Campus Review

The course curriculam that has been choosed by the university for the students is based on the credit based system which means current requirement based education. the university provide points to each student which help in CV building and learning practical knowledge.

university as such dont provide the internships directly but with the recommendation of vice chancellor students get internships easily. law firms like AP and partners, Samvad Partners provide interships. but university can provide judicial interships like under the judges if supreme court and high courts

as the batch size is very less ( 60 students) most of the students opt for higher studies and judicial services and very few students go for placements and internships. the univerity call some law firms but very few come due to location. but students get paced by their own hardwork.

the total yearly fee for the BALLB programme is Rs. 181000 and total it cost around Rs 945000 which include mess and hostel fee. the university provide 3 types of meritorious scholarship like for boys, girls and for hardship category but it is barely around 20000. Also university is incresing the fee yearly, like 5000 per year.

the infrastructure is best in the collage the students get single rooms from third year and rooms are very good and apart from hostel sports infra is best and also the library is one of the best like we have access to all the journals like west law, manupatra, scc online etc. students run various social groups and university staff supports them.

hostel rooms are eqipped with separete almarai, seprate fan, bed, and single room we have predecided mess menu fro veg and non veg everyone has to opt for the hostel after the admission but their is flexibilty in mess

my university take admision on the basis of CLAT examination and i choose this collage over the other collages because of the status of NLU and the campus environment. my collage was better than the collages that i applied on the parameters like teaching staff, infrastructure, and placements.

the faculty in the university are very meritorius and the most important is that they are very supportive. the BALLB course structre is like 2 semester in year which include Mid-semester and end semester. the university provide marks fro total 100 marks ( 25 - mid semester, 50-end semester, 25 -assignements)

university has gym facility in each hostel and we have common sports center for boys and girls. the campus allow us to play in evening. we handout in cafeteria which is inside the campus. the hostel and camous remain open till 12 am. shimanta, nisan, are famous places
