Remarks

Getting in this college for me is a dream come true. I choose this college as it's counted among top 3 to 4 colleges in Pune and there are number of opportunities this college provides to their students and getting COmp branch in such a great college is really amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the course curriculum is absolutely perfect. The pattern and the way of teaching is completely different from the University point of view. Competitive coding and developing Industry level skills are mostly emphasized.

No, This is my second year and i am building my skills in the domain of app development.

Placement Experience

Yes, this is the major aspect why each student wanna join this college. 200+ top companies visit the campus every year offering lacks of packages last year the highest package went up to 56 lacks. The count is increasing year by year and the alumni network is the best for any placement.

College Events

Talking about the areas of campus is really small surrounded by tall department buildings. Each month at-least 3 4 events are organised either by clubs or by college itself. An Annual techno fest event is organised and this event is really counted as the best college events in Pune.

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is really very good. There is a guiding map at the entrance of the college. The libraries, all the labs are well maintained and the stops facility is really amazing all the stops equipment are available

Hostel Facilities

Yes, the hostel is also okh okh, It includes all the basic facilities 1 room for two people and a combined washroom for 4 people. The hostel incharge keeps a special track of cleanliness in the entire hostel of 50 students. Talking about the mess stuff there are tieups of the hostel with different hotels from there itself or lunch and dinner comes.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

Reality of VIT, Pune

I had applied for COEP technological University, PCCOE Pimpri, and VJTI. I got confirmed addmissions in PCCOE for mechanical course , COEP for metallurgy and VJTI for textile industry. At the last, I took addmission in VIT mechanical. VIT, Pune has good nirf rankings and rather than opting for branches like metallurgy and textile industry I choose mechanical. And between pccoe and vit I choose Vit. Vit accepts admission through cet and jee mains. Also dor dsy students it accpets through cet exam. Cutoff changes every year has been increasing as number of participants has increased. Overall, after the allotment of the college it took 3 hours to take addmission. It could be less if you have alll required documents and fees has been already paid using mean like dd....Read More
