Remarks

I was looking for best of best college but due to my merit it was not easy to get the college I wished.But when I saw the reviews of this college it was preety decent and my merit was matching to the college so I opted it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Syllabus Is Decent.Faculties are little strict but are down to earth, they are always helpfull. Academics is also good. There is a good balance of theoretical and practical academics.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 91772 per year

Placement Experience

It has a preety nice placements.

College Events

They class hours are 2-6 hours changes every day. There are to many cells such as Entrepreneurship development cell, Value education Cell and etc. They are really awesome. And the Cultural fest of the College is pretty fair.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is fair enough not too nice. They have only one ground but they provides rented ground for their students when in need. They have wifi facility but not so fast in speed. Labs are decent.

Hostel Facilities

There are many PGs and hostel near locality. They have a college hostel but it is 1 - 2 km away from college. But I prefer to go for PGs. Because Hostel have not to nice facilities.For girls there are pretty good hostels in the locality.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
