Remarks

It's a autonomous college so syllabus is updated as per other colleges. Other colleges which are university based are having very old syllabus and that content is of no use as industry required the modern techniques. Teaching staff is very excellent and teach very well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is very nice it is updated as per the industry needs. It covers all the important points for a good engineer and also provides non technical skills which are very useful for job purpose or others.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 134924 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is done with collaboration with Vishwakarma Institute Of Information Technology which is sister Institute and lot many company visit the college for placement. Alumni network is best for college as they take many sessions and interact with students.

Campus life is amazing. College have many cells which organise lot many technical ani non technical events. College has a cultural fest named "Gandharva" which is the biggest event of the college and organised by students only so that students learn management skills and learn more.Additionally college has vishwaprenure event where some famous entrepreneur come and interact with students, vishwaruni where government officials come and guide students regarding competitive exams and lot more.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is good as per the students requirements. Each department is provided a seperate building and the campus has so many plants. Whole campus has a wifi connectivity. Library is full of so many books and provide extra service at time of exams. Labs are fully equipped.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
