Remarks

The college had good placement. Mordern infrastructure can be seen throughout the campus and they had a computer lab which was good. Opted BCA as if was interested towards studying more about computers.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum was out dated. But now it has been updated. We had to take extra trainings to make ourselves updated. The faculties are really good and caring. We had few exceptional faculty members such as Prof. Parichay Chakrabarti.

3rd Life - 10000Rupees monthly. The internship was achieved during Industrial training with Globsyn

Multiple MNCs have tie-ups with our college. The college sends us for Pool campus drives too. Students have got placed in companies like Capgemini, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, LTI, Amazon, etc. The placement process is usually hassle free but sometimes there are miscommunications between college and students.

College Events

Great campus life. Lots of opportunities to polish one self. Lots of scopes for extra curricular activities. College holds fests occasionally. There are multiple clubs where students can join. Small tech fests were occasionally held.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure was really good. We had multiple sports fields, wi-fi was available but speed was not adequate. Equipment in classes were at part standards. But our sports room was in ruins. And mainly we lacked proper filter water.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

I applied to Jadavpur University through their entrance exam, however i was not selected there due to my low scores in their entrance exam. Then through various research I found out about the course of BCA in internet, since I had taken a year drop I found it would be perfect for me.
