Remarks

The brand name, the reputation, placements, infrastructure, Anti-Ragging Policy (No Ragging at all), fees inclusive of uniform and books, etc, and it's location which is pertinent for my course, also compulsory Internship after every semester- so by the time you pass out you have at least 10 different Internship experiences.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is good, though very hectic. Faculty is good but not up to the mark. The syllabus is frequently updated, sometimes even after every semester but mostly in an academic year. We have compulsory Internships after every semester and the college helps you finding one via the internship cell. We also have course experts from the practical field to give us a better perspective of how a course works in the real life.

Placement Experience

3.5

We don't have campus placements yet but Pre Placement offers are mostly given and thus quite a few people get job opportunities. There are so many preparing for judicial services and UPSC and others persuing PG from Abroad. We have An Entrepreneurship Cell which has quite a few start ups. The alumni network is amazing, our super seniors who have passed out years ago visit us and share their expertise with us and their experiences, train us for moots and judge us at various competitions.

College Events

3

The major focus is on the academics but we frequently have cultural evenings, and we host 2 movie nights every year. But again, more emphasis is on the academics. College holds two fests simultaneously Symfiesta, the cultural fest and Aparajit, the sports fest for three days in the month of February, with thousands of participants for different competitions!

Campus Life

Amazing! Very well equipped library, beautiful moot courts and clean and beautiful classes, the campus is fully equipped with AC all throughout. We also have an amphitheatre for small functions, a beautiful auditorium and small little parks in the campus too. We have two dogs- Kuna and Lev which are also known as the Stress Busters, which is an initiative of the university.

Hostel Facilities

Triple sharing rooms, two hostels Ac and Non ac, mess and hostel staff is very cooperative. You need to fill forms to get the accomodation, it's on the first come, first served basis. The Hostels are limited in number, so the sooner you apply the better. Also, the campus has only Girls hostels. Students till 3rd year can take up hostels. All roomates in a room are from different states. PGs are nearby and at a slightly less price than the hostel and are accessible but might not be as spacious and clean as the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers the core subjects like programming languages (C, Java, Python basics), data structures, DBMS, networking, and web development, providing a basic foundation in computer applications. However, the curriculum may not be fully up to date with current industry trends like advanced Python, cloud computing, machine learning, or modern frameworks. In terms of comprehensiveness, it is suitable for beginners, but students aiming for competitive placements or tech roles will need to supplement it with online courses, certifications, or personal projects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more inclined towards a theoretical side and lacks practical exposure. In the present scenario, having practical knowledge is a must if you want to survive in the industry, which my college didn't prepare me for. However, there are various opportunities across the campus. We have AIC inside the campus, which may offer an internship to the students if they reach out to them.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
