Remarks

Was given to me in the last round of counseling and I didn't have any other option and we thought it was a deemed university. And the infrastructure wasn't bad and seemed like a good college. And the teaching is good but the patients in the hospital are less

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching is good, better than many colleges, the patients are less. The curriculum is followed and the faculties are good. There are well-equipped labs and classes. It's overall not a bad college. The classrooms are good. The toilets are not.

Internships Opportunities

3000 rupees seniors who work has told

Placement Experience

3

Find yourself jobs most of them go for writing pg exams. Good students get seats others try jobs some get. Depends and I have heard some seniors joining aiims for pg and many join pg courses. I'm not sure about that

College Events

4

There are extra activities like programs and sports and cultural and everything. Anyone can participate and it’s not huge events but they happen. There are grounds and students often play. And it's not bad.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't think our college gives any loans or scholarship exams but you can take loans from private banks. They take a fine for the late fee. And fine for everything.

Campus Life

It has good infrastructure and labs are well equipped but the location is far from the city which makes traveling hard even going to malls. The hostel building is good too. The college doesn't have huge canteens it's small but the overall classrooms are good.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are sometimes small and you have to pay extra for AC. The food is not that good. The housekeeping facilities are there. Have high security to go outside can't go often. Sometimes there's a water problem cause it's near Chennai. And no WIFI.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready
