Remarks

This college was good in providing education as it is very old college under Mumbai University.College is also famous for sports and as won many awards in field of cricket,football,swimming etc. and as I was interested in sports I joined this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good as there are good amount of subjects present in the syllabus with proper balance of practicals.Faculty members are kind and helpful.They teach every thing with proper examples and illustrations.They help students whenever students have doubts in particular subject.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are below average in college.4-5 companies visit campus every year and offer jobs to few students who have required skillset. Majority of crowd remain unplaced because of fewer opportunities.

Many events take place on campus each year.Tech fest, jashan e rizvi, Bio event are some of the events which are organized in college every year.Many students participate in those events and showcase there skills.Other college students can also be part of our college events with proper registration.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of the college is fine.All basic facilities are provided in the college.All classrooms are kept clean and tidy.Canteen is big and well-maintained.Library is spacious with many books available for students.Sports room is good and many indoor games equipments are present there.Medical facility is available on campus itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

I don't know much about the placements but I heard that after third year onwards you get placement opportunities . The highest package is 12 lacks and the average package is between 3.5 to 4.5 lacks .

A tale of Rizvi college

I did not apply for any other college because I completed my SYJC my HSC from Rizvi College of arts, commerce and science. So I rather prefer to do it your because they give me preference over other students because I've got good marks. I've got 80% so that's a great Opportunity for me to grab the seat. I have not given any entrance exam since for BAF. We do not give any entrance exam The cut-off for BAF is 60%. If you get less less than you do not get seat somewhere, you may get but not confirm that you will get it and overall admission experience is great. I choose this college because of its reputation, its name and the campus tbh. This college is very good in placements as its placement rate is goood but the placement quality is not that good. I did got rejection from other colleges but not this one, this was my own choice to get into this college. Other colleges rejected me because of my percentage.
