The overall experience provided by the institution is so awesome that you cannot forget the amazing moments you had in there.

The institute takes both CAT & XAT exam score and I got admission through my CAT Score. I scored 98.5 percentile. Chose SPJIMR as this is one of the top 10 MBA colleges in the country, great faculty, good curriculum including exposure to the social sector, good placements being in Mumbai.

The course curriculum is very well structured and balanced. A student has to read all the subjects during the 1st year and specializes in the 2nd year.

During the 2nd year every student has to do 2 months internship with the corporate world which gives the students first hand experience of the corporate world which helps the students in choosing their careers. The internship is offered by some of the best corporate in the country. Average stipend was INR 15-20K per mth with the maximum was INR 50K per month.

The placement scenario is very good as the college is based in Mumbai and so do most of the companies. The entire batch was placed on Day 0. We had companies from all the sectors coming for placements. Some of the companies were Citi Bank, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Mckinsey, Accenture, KPMG, E&Y, PWC, HUL, P&G, Castrol, Capgemini, CTS, Infosys, TAS, Aditya Birla etc. Average offer was INR 14L and the maximum was INR 30 L.

We had an annual festival with each society has their own events. Some of the societies even had corporate events. We get representation from colleges across the country.

The fee structure was very nominal given the placement and pay back period. The entire course fee was INR 3.5L for 2 years including hostel accommodation and reading materials. Mess food was over and the above the fee.

The college did not have any scholarship, however the students can avail education loans from the banks. Given that the college is very highly rated, getting loan was not very difficult.

The campus life was great with mix of learning and extracurricular activities. Sports, competition, social events, festivals, everything was celebrated. There was no distinction made in terms of ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. Everybody was considered equal.

The hostel facility was very good and the facility was kept neat and clean. The mess food was subsidized but the quality of food was average. The hostel had night canteen which was very important. Rooms were on sharing basis and had adequate space for everything

The college has a strong alumni network with alumni working in almost all the big companies in India. The alumni are always happy to help the students in whatever their require be in terms of career advice, projects, internships etc.

We had 3 exams each year with regular tests, quizes, group tasks, assignments, presentation which were all part of the evaluation. The days were very hectic, however it was fun at the same time as the entire experience was very different and helps you learn new things everyday.

The faculty members are very good, with adequate teaching experience and industry expertise so the learning becomes even more effective.
