Remarks

It was the fourth college of Engineering that was Autonomous after the 1st three & cut off was as I may get admission in it. Also it is a strict college in studies & discipline. And also the faculty staff are very imovative, the college provides a good placement

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I've selected i.e. computer science is one of the branch that is required with this growing world. The teachers here provides us knowledge on a regular basis with a strict time table. Also the labs & practical are also done on a very serious note. Also teachers create a healthy atmosphere in the classes & explain us even if it's not understood by one of the student as many times as it is asked

Placements are really good for the best students. Company like extramarks, byjus, Amazon,etc also home placements are being available. Almost 80% students are being placed & others are also given other opportunities. The package offered is also high

College Events

The college provides the celebration of each & every festival, n events. many technical events are being held. Weekly we have cultural classes i.e. dance, singing, drama. Game event also plays a major role & even girls are being encouraged for a strong participation

Campus Life

Our college i.e. JD college of engineering and Management Nagpur is awarded with the 1st prize in Nagpur for its beauty, environment, greenery, the infrastructure, etc. The college is a second resort we can say. It has Beauty as much as can nature have. Also sports, cultural are being considered as one of its subject of studies. Many webinars, interactions are being held with the students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.
