Remarks

This collge is one of the reputated college in South Kolkata and it is goverment college which means affordable fees for the students. My parents suggested me to join this college as they were also the passouts from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course was last updated in the year 2017 with the new CBCS system. And now we have lot of pressure in clearing all the syllabus and passing exams without any suppli. Our economics department is very good as the teachers are well qualified and helpful alot.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 42000 per year

I donot have adequate information about placment cell. I am a second year student and havent accquired the requires info about college placement. College passouts can only provide with such informations.

College Events

My college life is not going so well as there is hell lot of study pressure on us and the complusory attendence for us has restricted us to college only. But the cultural life of our college is very good. We took part in many Inter college competitions and we grabbed many prizes.

Campus Life

The college has its own campus with a main building. Our classroom is projector enabled with speaker and a mic system. We also have a computer lab in which we are being provided with many computer courses and skills.

Placement Experience:

Generally from semester 6 the students are eligible for placements but what I heard is that if you just do bba and sit idle thinking that you'll get placement from college. You are fool then. You have to look for it ,you cannot sit completely thinking that college will help. You have to do it yourself also Around 30/35% students get placement. My plans after completing bba is that I'll start my startup. No plan B

Placement Experience:

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement are good enough. From 6th semester students become eligible to for campus placements(internships as well as full time offer). 105 companies visited in 2025 and many package offered by them based on student's skill. highest palcement : 45 LPA offered by amazon. Percentage of students getting placemnets : 86%. After getting the degree my plan is to take a decent job and to be finanancially stable.

My honest review for iLEAD college as a student

Placement Experience:

Here, I've not been offered any placement still now because this is not the right time for me, but I have sent the placement drive are happening in our college and many students are going there and joining them. I have many seniors I know, they got placed. In my course, there is a mass option of freelancing is opened in front of all of us. We usually start doing freelancing after a year of studying. Here mentors also help to get clients. Then Ilead also offers interships. There students can learn and earn as well.

For admission to this course, the student merit list is prepared considering every student's performance in 10+2 examination. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. I have applied in many colleges like AGC Bose college, Surendranath college, City college (north), Seth Anandram Jaipuria college but I chose Heramba Chandra College due to it's better placements, better skill development, better company networks,etc.... No I made it there but I voluntarily cancelled my admission from there and came here. For our college, admission is managed by WBCAP portal in total 4 phases then rest 5-6 are conducted by the college. For UR category more of less minimum of 80% in best of 4 is required for admission.
