Anushka Shetty's Review On KES Shroff College Of Arts And Commerce, Mumbai

The College was not too far from my home so i could save time un traveling was one the reasons I took this college, apart from that the fees was less as compared to some other colleges and the facilities are more here, the fest, co curriculum activities and many other functions/seminars/session made me apply to this college and luckily i got a seat here!!

Academics/Curriculum- Talking about academics this part here is good they complete their syllabus ahead of the time and the teacher are well experienced, their teaching method is good, if we have doubts they are free to answer them we can even contact them directly. Faculties- The faculties are also really good from my experience, I've been in the college since junior high so that means I've done my 11th 12th and now graduation in this college too so this one of the reasons i continued my studies here in the same college. You can find n number of departments here from Finance Dept. To Sports, Cultural, Women's Development, etc Departments.

The placement facilities are also really good every year many companies take part in this and many students not only the 3rd year students but also the 2nd year students can also take part in the Job Fair and if they cracked it they also appoint the 2nd Year students as well.

So i talked about the fest of our college as on of the reasons i took admission here so basically every year a huge fest is conducted called Chakrawyuha it is a 3 day fest different colleges take part in this fest there are various events held the 1st 2 days the events takes place where even other students from other colleges can take part and on the last day DJ night is conducted for the students of Kes Shroff where they call a famous singer. Last year Singer Jonita Gandhi came and before that Singer Darshan Raval perfomed and we had a blast. Apart from Chakrawyuha we also have Antarang which for only our college students in this also various events, performances and games are conducted. Also we have Garba night every year and on this day also a very famous garba singer ia invited as a guest. Then we also have Annapurna divas where people can put their food stall and other can buy from them and all. Apart from these we also have NSS, NCC, DLLE(Department of Longlife Learning and Extention). We also have science day and many many(n number of festivals and seminars held)

Yes the students here love the infrastructure we also have a turf of our own where we can freely practice cricket, football, throwball and other games. We also have a Gymkhana for indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis,etc. We also have a study library and a portable library (like a ice cream stall we have a book stall in a cart of floors, so if you have to get some book you can grab from here no need to go till the library) apart from that we have many computer labs with min.20 computers in each lab.
