Mohammad Sadique Anjum's Review On Khaja Banda Nawaz College Of Engineering - [KBNCE], Gulbarga

I took Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). After clearing Entrance Test went for Admission counselling in Bangalore. Got admission in KHAJA BANDA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING,Gulbarga in 1998.

4 years of ELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTATION Engineering Course consist of 8 semester.A year for 2 semesters.there were 6 theories+2 labs in each semester. In 8thth sem we have project work andseminar on current topics.

In the final semester of engineering we did project in Bangalore. Company Ushastipend 2000 INR there we worked on artificial intellivence system which worked very effenciatially.

No on Campus placements happened in our college. I got placed in HCL in an Off Campus an interview. Salary Rs 1.44 lac annum.

We never had any Technical Festivals but yearly Department Fresher party,College Day and Hostel Day were organised in our college. In every festival i was an active member.

College Fees Rs 36000 year Hostel Fees Rs 22000 year includes room charge means accomodation plus food charges library fees Rs 750 year Expensive for that time in 1998 in 3rd year Management charged 300 rs year fot internet using.

No Scholarship loan availed by me or any offered by College but after i got distinction in 1st 2 year of engineering my fees reduced to Rs 8000 year. In last two year i only paid Rs 16000 for fees.

1st year was common almost 60 student in a section 17 girls in my section 2nd year In our department we were 33 students there. Among them 9 girls but in we were 17 students in final year 4 girls. i was leader of college union for 2 years. We never or our college never discriminate students on the basis of religion,sexual orientation, gender,politics and economic status but there were some regional feeling like we have North Indian,South Indian group. Also there is a local group who wants to dominate on all group. Thats all.

3 Bed In 1st year room. In 2nd year and 3rd year room have 2 beds. In final year i got single bed room. Okay dokay facilities. Foods was not good. But Sunday breakfast and Lunch was special. Poori Sabji in breakfast and chicken paneer in lunch.

Seniors were very co-operative. They helped us with their notes,books n many thing we learned from our seniors. We also ragged by our seniors but after ragging they shared very co-ordial relations with us.

In every semester we have 3 Internal Assessment test. Last 2 classes of every alternate day we have lab classes. Those were very interesting but was hectic.

Very bad Faculty Chemistry else every faculty is excellent our Head of Department was an excellent faculty member who can teach any subject related to ELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTATION.
