Likes

Computer labs because they are modern and have windows 11 and Linux for networking lab
It is near to town which benefits localites
Campus life is great, many fests take place as well as sports

Dislikes

Network infrastructure is outdated and slow
Some faculties use old fashioned method of teaching
Campus is relatively small as when compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

It has always been my passion to go into the CSE field, developing apps and web pages the curriculum is being constantly updated to fit the upcoming technologies. Semester end examinations usually take place once every 5 months and the internals take place 2 times in each semester

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 99000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 99,000 yearly, but I pay 99k because I applied through KCET, the management seat here is 1,20,000 , which may increase and seat demand increases, state scholarship (SSP) is available, which give 25,000 yearly

Campus Life

Fests of all departments (ie. CSE civil mechanical etc) take place in the months October November and December, the library has many books not not too many but is sufficient for studies. This college also focuses on sports. Student run group include coding club.

Admission

I applied through kcet, I applied in this college and Sahyadri College in Mangalore, I got allotted the seat in this college so I have to take it and I had some personal issues that didn't allow me to go for studies outside of my hometown, my rank was 73 000 I have gotten an snq quota seat in the same college for electronics and electrical engineering but because I like computer science more I choose it although I got general seat.

Faculty

The Faculty-Student ratio is low but they are improving and hiring new faculties. 50% of the faculties are modern and they are very good at teaching, the other 50% are old fashioned and should update their ways of teaching. The examinations are conducted by VTU they are easier than most exams, but they have been getting tougher every year.

Night Life

The college is situated in the middle of a town so it has basic facilities like gym cafeteria's libraries public areas etc, the college also has its own hostel that is literally 100 or 200 m away from the college

the life of a dull college student

from 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements the campany names are infoysis , acceretor and google the highest package is 24 LPA the average package is 3.5 LPA percentage of student placed is 20 % minimum I want to get a job

From fourth year first semester students are eligible for campus placements and companies from all over the world come visit our campus to hire students in the campus placement and companies like Google Microsoft and other top companies and other top Japanese companies also come to hire us. Each company minimum offers are 70 so that all the students get placed in the campus placement about the highest placement package it is almost gross 50 lakhs per annum and talking about the average salary package or the median salary is 12 lakhs per annum and almost above 95% of students gets placed and few students do not get placed due to not eligible by their CGPA and two students out of 70 gets rejected

Atria institute of technology review.

Placement Experience:

The placements will begon from 7 semister. The big companirs lile amazon, philips, tech mahindra, bosch etc offer placemetns here last year the highest package was 12 LPA given by amazon to a student. The oercentage of students getting placements is around 75%. My plans after degree is start my own business i dont like working under people.

Eligible for the course is obvious, need a minimum of 60% in each PCM subject, as for the entrance exam we can admit via JEE or KCET which is state level entrance exam, as for reservation, you can be admitted anytime with an additional fine for delay, but for hostel you need to admit as soon as possible....Read More

Life with Untapped Potential

Admission is quite simple. All I had to do was appear for the CET exam and await my results. I could have applied through the management quota. When I discussed this with the then General Secretary, he suggested I go through counselling. My rank was enough to get me through. I recall there were seats reserved for SC/ST, OBC, etc. In fact, even in the library, there were shelves reserved only for them. They were locked all the year unless a student from the reserved quota needed any textbooks which were locked on those shelves. Books on those shelves were not accessible to the general population. The campus is very humungous. Football ground and basketball court for students. Large buildings for dorms and food were its best part. Infrastructure has improved over the years. Students have access to WiFi, usage of which is monitored by administrators. Campus placement isn't its strongest suit. But placement officer keeps ensures his network passes the information of any ongoing campus recruitments to him....Read More
