Remarks

Best college according to my rank and campusing was pretty good, the city is pretty good and cheap for students to live on. College has a large campus and the srict faculties are very sincere and serious about students and their future.I opted this course because i had an interest in hospitality sector and this course make you more of professional person. They provide a valuable degree and with pretty good career opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was moderate in terms of current aspects, it could be more advance. We got opportunity for 4 months of industrial exposures, which i did in Taj Bengal. Our faculties were more than serious about our behaviour, study, knowledge, grooming standards, etiquettes, punctuality.

Internships Opportunities

Taj Bengal, profile was as an intern, stipend was 1200 rs.you will get selected on the basis of interviews may be skype or telephonic.but remember one thing intership is more about surviving the industry than to learn about.but you will enjoy the most in your three year course.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement policies were pretty weird but you will get your chances. Placement is divided into three or four types hotels, food retail, non food retail and entrepreneurship.big companies do come there like oberoi, accor hyat itc etc reliance retails, tommy Hilfiger, aditya birla groups and MacDonald facos kfc.food retail campusing is not good.

College Events

1.5

Very formal about all these things, yeah we do had an annual day annual sports but no debate or extempore competition.Other than studies college is pretty boring and suffocating in some senses. College do have a tree to sit under and ac class rooms but in three years college didn't feel importance to add fans and lights in locker rooms. But yeah studies are great and our faculties tried their best to teach how to behave and maintain yourself. But sometimes boring classes will kill you to death.Creative aspects were less and then there is journal writing assignments.that was the dumbest thing a college could do.But recently they started personality development classes and spoken English classes which can be helpful.both are for first years only i guess.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan is not so hard to get college will support you at their best.yeah i heard about scholarships also may be they are for sc st students with particular conditions.

Campus Life

No wifi, no sports facilities, library is quite good but no books other than hospitality or management sector. Though we have a basketball court but it is used as a football cum Cricket cum running cum badminton cum anything you want as for ground to play. Our college didn't give permission to play their in college hours as there is no free class in 1st and 2nd year. The worst thing was we were not allowed to go outside also, i mean out of the campus until the college hours ends.

Hostel Facilities

See getting hostel in Ihm ahmedabad is more important than cracking upsc.hostel regulations were more strict than tihar jail for first years.but no ragging i can make sure.i managed to get into hostel in 2 nd semester only and it was pretty cool.if you know how to enjoy you will definitely enjoy it.But more than anything Ihm ahmedabad hostel is famous for it's food.a big credit goes to raju bhai and satish sir and panda Ma'am for that.food is like awesome you can't want more than that in a hostel seriously.non veg veg all kinds of options are there.
