Remarks

I chose to go to a large university because I like being part of a diverse student body. The world is a big place, and I thought attending a big school would better prepare me for life in the real world. My university has a very strong faculty of sciences, and I wanted to study under the best minds in the country. It also offered the subject I was seeking, and I wanted to fast track my education. I chose to go to a large university because I wanted to maximize my post-college opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course content and the syllabus is pretty updated. Industrial exposure I'll say is good specially for the fourth year students. Faculties are the best specially those of genetics, fruit science, vegetable science, computers, nursery management, floriculture, etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

Good. The availability of jobs largely depends on your academic performances. If your score is good enough then you'll be able to bag a good job worth 25k or so. It's not that one who doesn't have a good score do not get a nice job. The salary might be different.

College Events

4.5

Capmus life is good. A student is allowed to roam in the inside of the campus uptill 8pm. After 8pm a student is expected to return to their respective hostels. On 15th August every year there is a march pass of the respective courses and streams the winner of which is awarded with a medal and a certificate. Mid September marks the birth anniversary of the university, which leads to a massive concert with enough of food and refreshments. Students from all the streams are expected to participate.

Fees and Financial Aid

28000 per 6 months for 1st counseling students. 24000 per 6 months for 2nd counseling ones while 22000 per 6 months for 3rd. Mop up round students are awarded with 21000 per 6 months.

Campus Life

Wifi isn't present. Library is large enough for the entire class to accommodate with a huge variety of books and reference books. Labs are well equipped with the latest technologies, and equipments with a large number of chemicals etc.

Hostel Facilities

All time water and electricity supply. Frequent power cuts but generator facility is serves the purpose. 4 students in a room. Near and clean bathrooms. Pg is not available. Since it is a residential college, all the students are expected to reside within the college premises.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall, I would rate the course curriculum as good and fairly comprehensive in terms of both relevance and coverage. It includes most of the important subjects required for building a strong foundation, and it gives a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. One of the main reasons I chose this course was the wide range of core subjects included in the syllabus. The curriculum covers fundamental topics as well as some advanced subjects, which made me feel that it would be useful both for jobs and for higher studies. The inclusion of projects, assignments, and case studies also influenced my decision, as they help in applying concepts in a practical way. In terms of real-world preparation, the curriculum prepares students reasonably well. Many subjects are directly related to industry requirements, and the project work helps in developing problem-solving and analytical skills. However, practical exposure can be improved further by adding more hands-on activities, live projects, and industry-oriented tools. For students who want to go for higher studies, the theoretical base provided by the course is quite helpful. There are a few areas where the curriculum and teaching methods can be improved. Some subjects have outdated topics which should be updated according to current industry trends. More focus can be given to practical training, internships, and skill-based courses. Teaching methods can also become more interactive by using more discussions, presentations, and real-life examples instead of only slide-based lectures. Regarding the exam system, the course follows a semester-based pattern. There are usually: Internal assessments like quizzes and assignments during the semester One end-semester exam at the end of each semester Exams are conducted twice a year, at the end of each semester. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. If a student studies regularly and understands the concepts, clearing the exams is not very difficult. The questions are most

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always liked computer science engineering so I preferred it. The curriculum in cse department very much related to real word scenarios where DSA is provided which is very helpful. The improvement in course should be only to apply it properly means practically implementation as theory is more here. Frequency of exams are half yearly sometimes it delays by 1 month at max.

Here placement opportunities are not too good like the tier 1 and tier 2 colleges but if you study well then you can surely get a good placement and also provide you a platform to excel your skills and qualify too much exams like gate drdo. From six or seven sem students are eligible for placement. Here some sales companies have visited in recent placement drives and offers the placement of 3 lpa to 22 students and also some companies like TCS Wipro hires people .on an average 55 to 60 percent students get placed. I will sit for the placement and also apply for some off campus opportunity as well and will give gate too so that I can get offer letter from PSUs
