Remarks

IN HOC SIGNO they are slaves who dare not be in the right with two or three motto we can have new learning, we can have new courses we can have new processes BUT lets not forget our rich History our Traditions that have set us apart for almost 02 centuri

Entrance Preview

There was no particular common entrance tests but few rounds of aptitude tests & interviews and if they found you suitable, you are in i opted for the college due to the sheer recommendation from people who have been associated someway or the other with this great institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Well the course curriculum is mostly planned by the university and exists thereto but we always had liberal thinking non traditional teachers who looked beyond books and curriculum whatever practiced was not to get you a degree but to make you creative and an independent thinker.

Internships Opportunities

Not applicable for my course but there were companies who were taking interns from chennai and neighboring states for other departments I am not sure about the stipend part and overall experience as i did not got through one in particular.

Placement Experience

4

Placement cell and its members where pretty active and had good contacts with employers throughout the country they had a good database of alumni as well who assisted students in finding their place of occupation packages where not offered looking at the college but how the candidate performed, so some were really good, some good and some average.

College Events

5

You had culturals and competitions at all possible levels be it sports, literary, science or even testing your spirits starts from the basic level of a block a hall (hostel), department, college level, inter college and even mixed university levels these forums where given utmost importance and all who where into it had experiences for a life time as take away.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It cant get cheaper than this in today's world the college proved to be an absolute NON business unit unlike many sellers of education these days. You could get be there for a degree and not spend the entire amount that you might pay capitation at may top colleges today.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships where offered at various levels departmental, college level, other private entities, alumni, faculty etc issued scholarships for the meritorious students of college and could be easily availed.

Campus Life

4.5

A 300 acre naturally air conditioned campus with a lovely canopy of giant tress, shrubs, bird life, herbivores was an oasis of life in the dry city of chennai politics, economics, religion, gender equality all were absorbed from the might traditions, thus needed no spoon feeding culturals, events, music, arts, debates all were present almost everyday and was simply brilliant.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors there could be no better teachers who can prepare you for what is waiting for you outside you wake up to reality right from the first day and you are no more dependent on your parents you learn things the hard way but you learn it for a lifetime by the time you get out, your are prepared to face the wackiest bosses, 24 hour shifts, office politics anything that is thrown at you.

Exam Structure

Exams of course was not chilled out but not hectic as it as evenly spaced and allowed enough time to prepare and recoup. Practical learning sessions, activities, group studies, etc where encouraged and where distinct from traditional methods of learning.

Faculty

5

Faculty lived beyond books they had enough and more of their own expertise which made them hardly depend on any books they encouraged free thinking which i presume was their greatest strength not everyone would would take a leap of faith and tell your stu

The department of English not only offers good education but also so many values to lead our life. Faculties were so friendly in clearing students' doubts. There was personality development course to improve students' personality. Students had to choose any other subjects other than they are studying for sbi course. Due to this students learn about other subjects too.
