Remarks

Always good light guys u have a good option of doing MBA in a reasonable fee structure and get a good placement.

Entrance Preview

I took CAT 87.1 percentile in CAT 2009 IIITM Gwalior is a deemed university (MHRD Funded). In 2009 it has launced its MBA program Post Grad for engineers. One of the good colleges and of its national importance its a good option for MBA at nominal fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is very knowledgeble and research oriented. There are assistant professors who jave skilled degrees. Course Curriculum is divided into many subjects providing deep insight over main areas.

Internships Opportunities

There are no separate companies coming for interships. Those companies coming for final year students are approached for taking students of pre-final year for interships. Intership was variable around 20-30k per month.

Placement Experience

Placements were good. There were major recruiters like Microsoft,Direct I,L&T Infotech,WIPRO,Samsung,TCS and others. College has a well structured training and placement cell for organising the placement campuses. Overall the pay package offered is between 6-10 lakhs.

College Events

There's a big fest known as AURORA which invites many colleges for various technical and managerial events. At last we have a celebrity night being organised which invites one bollywood celebrity.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many banks like Bank of India etc. Have collabortaion with IIITM,Gwalior for providing education loans.

Campus Life

No Such gender biasness have been observed yet. People are more extracurricualr providing the same set of oppurunties to both sex. Sports facilities and robotics are having more options. Good marks given to both of them.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels rooms are good and spacious. Overall there are 4-5 hostels out of which 3 are boys and 2 are girls. Every student has own room which gives them privacy. Overall mess food is very tasty and hygenic. Full marks to mess food.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni Network is strong. People interact and connect via alumni meets organised every year.

The experience with Sage University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fees structure and placement made me tool admission in this univeresity as in bhopal their are very few good options and Sage is one of them. The curriculum prepares you quit well for real word applications and provides a way for further acadmic pursuits only if you are attentive in the class. I don' think that there is a need for any improvement in teaching area as the teachers are very well qualifield but the only improvement they need is in management. If we talk about frequency of classes then they are quit frequent and timings are also very reasonable.

It was nice to recall whatever experience we had in starting our journey

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester only students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. It was an engineering college therefore multiple companies visited to hire for both engineering and mba students. I got three offer from visited companies . I got two Internship offer and one job offer. 1st offer for Hiteshi Infotech as Business Development Intern , 2nd offer for Study Metro as Marketing Intern. And 3rd my final job offer at Collabera. Generally the highest package goes till 12 LPA. During the tenure more than 300 company visited the college . And every students got the offer. Even the placement also take care about every students. They also make sure that each student much have an offer in their hands. When I completed my studies , I gave many goveronment exam, I did preparation as well but didn't cleared any . Therefore I joined the company where I did the intership.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the third semester of their college companies start coming for placement since then and the placement is continued till the end of the last semester top recruiters who visit the college for placement are Asian Paints Nestle ICICI Securities ICICI Prudential Amul Trident etc highest package offered to students is 12 lakh per annum and the average package ranges between 4 lakh to 5 lakh per annum almost 80% of students get good placement opportunities by the campus mostly the companies come for marketing or sales role very few companies come for finance and HR role.

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure in PIMR is effective and good. The institute placement cell lays great emphasis on the overall placement process and inviting companies in the college. The students are eligible to sit at placements from 3rd semester. There is rarely any company that visited the institute and haven't made any offer to the students. The highest package offered this year is of 20LPA, with average package being almost 5LPA. Almost 80% of the tsudents were able to secure offer letters at the end of their degree.

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges.
