Remarks

This university is the first agriculture university of India.this university have 8 colleges for different degree programs. This is the first choice for the icar candidates.so the students came from all over the India.the infrastructure and the campus area of this university is also remarkable.this university has its fame all over India.and this course is my second option but now I am happy with this.this is s self finance degree program.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is thorough and informative.the practical knowledge is important aspect of this course.this course is all about food, nutrition, processing and food safety.this is a semester system four year degree program.and each SEM ends with 2 internal,1 external and 1 lab final exam.the faculty is strict, deciplined and on the other hand they are supportive too.

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement rate of the university is not up to its reputation I personally feel that.there are many job opportunities in different sectors but college placement is something to worry about.there is entrepreneur ship cell in university for contacting different organizations and companies for jobs and placements.there are several alumini meets all over the year for career counseling and for a proper bonding between students and alumini's

College Events

The campus life is hectic as well as sometimes it's boring too.as there are no fun zones like shopping malls, theatres in the campus.You have to take permission for going out of the campus.but inspite of this the stadium is impressive,well maintained and equipped.there are several societies and student organizations for conducting different events for personal development.there are many national level events conducted in university such as kisaan Mela and debate competitions.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Placement Experience:

The college provides a great scope for campus placement this was one of the main reason I took admission here.Form the second last semester the students become eligible to sit for the placement exams.The college have ties with many big companies and MNCS which provides the opportunity for campus placement. The written exam is conducted in the college campus only and the selected students are called for the interview. The main companies that visit Graphic Era Hill University are - 1:TCS 2: Infosys 3: Adobe 4: Google 5: Microsoft The highest package of the college in previous batch was 50 lakhs per annum and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum.Tough the college does not guarantee 100 percent placement but most of the students get campus placement the percentage would be around 80% . My plans after completing my degree is to get a job as a financial assistant and gain some experience and then pursue MBA .

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell .
