It's a central university and holds good rank amongst all the universities. The university has quite good professors with enough experience. Placements are average. The campus provides enough facilities like library, big computer labs, free wifi campus. Cusb has got the campus area of 300 acre with number of playgrounds and canteens facilities. Extra curricular activities along with co curriculars are quite often held. Environment of the university is quite competitive and teachers are quite encouraging.Seperate Hostels for boys and girls are also there within the campus itself. Fees of different courses are quite affordable as the university is affiliated to central government. The infrastructure are quite good. Infact this university has best infrastructure in Bihar. There are different blocks for different departments. There are two undergraduate courses in this university i.e. B.A.LL.B. and B.Ed and rest are of masters degree and PhD in different branches. So if you are looking for a higher degree then you can go for this university. The university does not provide distance course. Every course is running so you will have to attend the class. And 75% attendence is mandatory to appear for semester exams. The college is quite good. You must opt for this college if you want to pursue the course which is available in this university.

Course syllabus is Fully updated. Has quite experienced faculties. The exposure is not so good but enough if the student himself is eager to have it. Most of the professors have doctorate degree and they have good teaching skills. Frequent seminars are held in the university that helps in enhancing the quality of students. Co curricular for different departments are also frequently held. The teachers are quite active in organising the events. They also focus on the academics and all the important things that students require to enhance their skills.

Does not have good placement facilities in B.A.LL.B. department.University does not invite any firm to recruit the student. However students can independently apply for different firms. Does not have much idea about other departments as their are many department in university and have their own placement departments.

Many extra curriculars are organised throughout the year. Sports tournament is also held annually. Every year law department organises law fest wich includes different activities like quizes parliamentary debate, moot court competition etc in which students gets chance to participate. Every department holds their event seperately and give exposure to student to enhance their skill
