My course totally based on practical.in which one semester we have to go on industrial exposure training in any above 3star property all over India in which we learn about how hotel run how hotel operate

Very good we have different hostel for different gender for boys we have 3 hostel building balmiki viswamitra vedbyaah and three hostel for girls Ganga Yamuna saraswati both hostel are near to college

* I had chosen to do mechanical engineering because I had some bond with machines and it's designing and was also aware with the scopes of mechanical engineering. * In real world the curriculum helped me a lot and still it is helpful, currently I'm preparing for position of junior engineer and there it is quite helpful for me. * I don't think any improvement is required in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything was good at its place and it's also the responsibility of us (students) to know our curriculum thoroughly and give our best. * Exams were conducted at an interval of 6 months and as said earlier exams conducted were moderate level not too difficult or easy and with studies it can be cleared easily

The placement is good with highest package being 19 lpa from JP Morgan to lowest is 3 lpa the average package is around 5 lpa . Students are eligible for placement tests from 6 sem as pwc comes for their launchpad program in 6th sem only. Companies like accenture, tcs, Infosys, cognizant, PWC, JP Morgan visit our college. Majority students around 82 percent gets placed in these companies. My plan after college is to work for any of these companies.

IHM Bhubaneshwar is the best Govt. affiliate college, course flexibility, and friendly faculties. If I discuss about admission process, I got admission in this college as per merit list that is All India Joint Entrance Exam for hospitality management done by few respected cities where those colleges are present. It’s very simple first get entrance from respected IHM affiliate college then fill it up, make demand draft, and courier this to the mentioned office. After that they will send admit card. Just prepare for the entrance exam and get a good rank and join the college. Always try to get lower rank to get a good institution. My admission fee was 50,000 now its may be more and the month of admission is mostly July. I select this college because first Govt. affiliate and less course fee and its 3rd ranked all over IHM.
