The hospitality student’s experience

This course has a very good curriculum in terms of relevance as it teaches the core concepts of the hospitality industry. The course offers students to explore and learn more about how this industry works and what is the things we should do in the industry to become successful. The exams are also done semester wise mid term exam and then end seem exams. The exams are not so difficult and not so easy.

Internships are mandatory in this degree in the 2nd year for each and every student for 17 weeks .The companies like IHCL,ITC, Oberoi, etc conduct online and offline interview and choose them as a trainee and give them stipend.

The placements of the institute is very good as it is the best hotel management institute of Odisha so the companies also prefer students from our institute than other institute. From 3rd year the students are eligible for campus placements.Campus placements are also regular in our institute as many companies like IHCL,Oberoi group,Hyatt group,ITC hotels,JW Marriott,etc also offer job to students.

The tuition fees are normally 3.27 lakhs and the hostel charges are 50000 per semester and other miscellaneous charges should be between 10000 to 20000 per year.The scholarship are also available as per the reservation criteria.In the internship some stripends are also given as per which property are you working in.

Many functions are conducted in our institute.The festivals, freshers,farewell etc are celebrated together in the institute every year.Our library have a lot of book in a very good condition and the students can borrow the books also for some days.The students are very socially connected and conduct the college function together

The students should have passes +2 exam with English language.Then a entrance examination is conducted named NCHM JEE of 200 marks in 3 hrs which is conducted on computers. The forms can be filled on the Nchmct website.The exam is conducted every year and the difficulty level is average for a +2 pass student

Faculties of the institute are very knowledgeable and they have a very high expertise in this industry.They are also very well mannered and very polite to students. They try their best to make us understand about the topics.They are also very punctual in their work and provide as many notes as they can.They are also available for clearing the doubts of the students anytime.Their approach to teaching and mentorship is very positive.
