Golden days in IHM BHUBANESWAR

I would like to say that the management had changed a lot. Many good features had arrived in our the food quality had been increased the accommodation also been increased. The faculties had grown more friendly. The principal is also strict in their words which will impact good for the students.

I opted this particular College as it ranks in 3rd in all India. And secondly, the interview process is very short with respect to Kolkata. It will hardly 2-3hours not more than. This college is having many qualities like no other IHM college is having such a big kitchen which I found in my IHM BHUBANESWAR College. I very glad to find my faculties who are really very helpful as well as friendly too.

The course is a little bit huge as there were 7 subjects like front office, food production, food, and beverage service, housekeeping, food and beverage management, accounts, computer application, hygiene. These 7 subjects had 7 different notebooks which they called a journal.

Well yes, our college provide internship also from one of the biggest five-star deluxe hotels. The stipend varies from hotel to hotel. It starts with 1000-1250/-. The overall working experience is fantastic and fabulous.

Well as you know that our college is oriented by the government so in that case, the campus which I found came was: the Oberoi Grand Kolkata, Hyatt Regency Kolkata, the park Kolkata, j.w.marriott Kolkata. The retails also came like KFC, DOMINO'S, BARBECUE NATION and many more. The hotels used to offer us 14500/- with accommodation and the retails used to offer us 18000/- without accommodation.

Our college each and every festivals like Holi, Durga Puja, Lori which is celebrated in huge number. Apart from that our college holds cultural programs for the students like Freshers party, debate, dance competition, cricket match, football match, swimming competition essay competition table tennis and many more.

Well, the fee is a little bit expensive for the middle-class family. As the first semester will take you 46250/- along with the hostel fees. In 2nd it will cost you around 72455/-with the hostel accommodation. 3rd semester u will be doing the internship but the 4th,5th and 6th semester are same as 44235/-

Yes, you perform well in your semester examination then you will offer a scholarship of 5000/-rupees by the state government.

Well, I would like to tell you that you don't have to worry about the gender ratio as because everyone belongs from different states and they don't discriminate about this things. Extracurricular activities are many as I have mentioned above, laboratories are really very big, sports competition you can't count as it is countless.

Well, the hostel facilities are many you will be getting your room but not the personal room you need share among 3 students. The bathroom is not attached. There are 2 - 3 aqua guards in each floor. And for keeping fit u can use the gym. Gym facilities are not given to first years u need to take permission for that.

Well, alumni are all about getting together of junior, senior and the super seniors who had passed out from the college. They come to our alumni and share their experiences and college life which they the ups and downs the fun they enjoyed which is helpful for the juniors.

Well, I would like to say that exams are really hectic for us as because there was a huge syllabus and if u don't study it will be hectic for them. Before the final examination, there will 3 mock tests which will be held in between the semester so that students get brushed up. The mock test is quite chilled out.

First I had book the seats through online, then I went to Bhubaneswar and there was long admission process which took me around 3 hours to 4 hours. First I need to take the form from the College administrative section and filled the form along with the passport size photographs. Then we waited in a hall and again to the office with the certificates of class 10 and 12. And the last I had submit the fees that is the college fees and the hostel fees.

Now I would like to say about my faculties. Well, the faculties are well qualified and as well as certified. Each and everyone had also done their graduation from one of best IHM colleges like IHM BHUBANESWAR, IHM Pusa, IHM Kolkata, IHM BHUBANESWAR, IHM Guwahati. And after graduation, they also have done their MSC, some have more qualifications.
