Remarks

Reputation, good facilities,good faculties.Nice infrastructure.Flexible credit system.Good at giving industrial exposure.Good at moulding students.Good labs facilities.Nice library.Good at extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is fine. Industrial exposure is given. Faculties are doctorates in their respective field.The course curriculum is best.The faculties in mechanical dept. are chill except few. There are some very good faculties in VIT honestly speaking.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

Moderate.Some chose to sit for placements. Many prefer higher studies.Some prefer starting their own startup. Some are even placed in dream companies for higher package.It is totally based on skill and their own mindset.

College Events

There are many good events which use to happen in the campus.We have two big culturals in a year.One is the "technovit" and other is "Vibrance". These culturals are really good.Apart from this we have many extracurricular activities taking place in the campus.

Atmosphere and affordability

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible without any backlog. Axis bank, Deloitte, zuilka motors , Maruti Suzuki I got offer letter from 2 companies Axis Bank and zulika motors Axis Bank offered for 240000/- per annum and zulika motors offered 300000/- per annum. Then I tried outside also I got even better package 420000/- per annum at Avias india manufacturer of stainless Steel and kitchenware. So I went with Better package I went for 5 months then I resigned the job for the higher studies

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Life of an MBA at VIT

All of us know VIT for its flagship program which is B. Tech but its MBA program is too good as well. I gave the CAT exam and secured 85 percentile which helped me in taking admission at VIT.
