Remarks

Firstly Central government college, secondly under top 15 IHM college's in India, then campus placements are also above average, and near my home town as well, Infrastructure was another major factor for choosing the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is really great in itself, I will say that the facilities that one student get in a college like this is unimaginable. We went for a 4 months of industrial training as a part of our curriculum, Each and every faculties were best at their fields. Starting with Usha ma'am for housekeeping, Gautam sir and sudhir sir for food and beverage service, Prakash tripathi sir, gaurav sir, for food production, Gyan ranjan sir and yuvraj sir for front office. Even our principal used to take classes for interview preparation. And many more, if I start taking names words will fall short.

Placement Experience

5

Novotel vizag & vijaywada, HMS, fortune park, the Leela Bangalore, club Mahindra, oberoi grand, grand Hyatt Goa, dominos, KFC, reliance, green park avasa, taco bell, arvind,.etc Profile offered was both MT program (management trainee) OT program (operation trainee) More than 195 students got placed. Feedback for placement will be really great. Alumni referral is not really there, But yes they used to visit us for motivating the aspiring candidates.

College Events

4.5

The auditorium is great in itself, It's huge, I have explored many IHM's but have never seen an auditorium big like this. College is really proactive at regular events. And if I talk about festival then we used to stay at college in festival rather than going home. So by this one can easily imagine how big was the show there.

Campus Life

Infrastructure was great, For sports dedicated ground is there including gym. The library size is again something that is really commendable. And if I talk about the equipments then modern equipment are there for seem less education.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are available for both boys and girls, but the seats are limited but can easily accomodate 200 candidates for a batch (eg 2020-2021 batch) Yes it's in sharing basis as every hostel have. There's PG's also Available but up to a limited extent only. The rent for a bed in a PG is around 2000/- excluding meals. It's very easy to avail hostel facility as it's first come first serve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

7/10 for theoretical depth 3/10 for industry relevance 6/10 overall Each semester lasts roughly 5 to 6 months. The difficulty level is moderate. Passing is comfortable and scoring 60 - 70% is achievable. The current syllabus is strong in fundamentals needs better alignment with current technology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* I had chosen to do mechanical engineering because I had some bond with machines and it's designing and was also aware with the scopes of mechanical engineering. * In real world the curriculum helped me a lot and still it is helpful, currently I'm preparing for position of junior engineer and there it is quite helpful for me. * I don't think any improvement is required in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything was good at its place and it's also the responsibility of us (students) to know our curriculum thoroughly and give our best. * Exams were conducted at an interval of 6 months and as said earlier exams conducted were moderate level not too difficult or easy and with studies it can be cleared easily

Course Curriculum Overview:

We didn't know that we were the second batch of BCA in our college till we took admission. However following only the college curriculum is not sufficient to prepare yourself for industrial world as the duration of even semesters are only 4 month. This is what that should looked out for and after the odd semester exams we a gap of one month.

The placement is good with highest package being 19 lpa from JP Morgan to lowest is 3 lpa the average package is around 5 lpa . Students are eligible for placement tests from 6 sem as pwc comes for their launchpad program in 6th sem only. Companies like accenture, tcs, Infosys, cognizant, PWC, JP Morgan visit our college. Majority students around 82 percent gets placed in these companies. My plan after college is to work for any of these companies.
