Remarks

I opted this college because my preference was cluster university, as I had to continue my studies in jammu only. Cluster university is one of the best university of India. I opted for BA because i am an upse aspirant so that's why i choose arts stream. And the reason for opting this course from this particular college is that if i am unable to attend my class in the college, as I have to spend max time to my studies for my competitive exam, so the staff members of my institute are very understanding and cooperating. They really help their students whenever they are having any kind of confusion or queries.

Course Curriculum Overview

Almost every course is available in MAM PG College with a very good staff. Teachers really pay alot of attention to their students, especially who are weak in studies. So many faculties are also available in the campus like laboratories, library, etc.

Internships Opportunities

I am doing internship with Internshala. I was hired as an ISP (Internshala Student Partner) and now I have become the ITC (Internshala Training Captain). Internshala is linked with about 60000+ companies. And in case of my internship, the stipend depends on the ISP points we earn with our work.

Placement Experience

0.5

It depends on the student's performance in their academics, MAM PG College is a Govt college. So, there is no placement is available by the college faculty.

So there are so many exciting activities for the students in the campus of MAM PG College.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available for the students who scores very high marks in 12th standard. This mainly depends on the merit. Also, scholarship is available for the students who are having any category.

Campus Life

MAM PG College is always on top in sports and NCC. There is spacious library with so many books which really help students. Wifi is also available in the campus. Laboratories with all the equipments. The college is having a very good ground where students can practice for different sports. Spacious class rooms with smart class in some classes. Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture subject is practical oriented and you will enjoy visiting agriculture fields and that was the sole reason i choose this field. The curriculum is well designed and you will not feel any problem while helping farmers in real world.. Improvement needed in practical work i.e more practical work should be done.

The practical nature of this course dragged me to choose this course. The course is well designed to solve the every day's problem. The practical portion should be enhanced more to inculcate practical knowledge. In a year 4 exams are conducted at an interval of 3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course includes subjects that are beneficial for me. For example: Gender and Society – teaches me about society’s orthodox traditions and norms. Indian Knowledge System – explains how India’s knowledge has evolved over time. Literature – provides an overview of English literature, excluding stories and poems, and focuses only on the parts that are useful for us. Environmental Studies – gives knowledge about our surroundings, including living and non-living things. Political Science – a systematic study of the structure and behavior of the state and political institutions. Logical Reasoning – the best part of the course, very useful for our knowledge as well as civil services and defense exams. Law and Society – will help me in my further studies in law. Personally, the two specific subjects that made me choose this course were Law and Society and Logical Reasoning, because these subjects are rarely available elsewhere and will be very beneficial for me. The teachers are good at teaching, but there is a need to make changes in the teaching methods. As of now, there are only blackboards or whiteboards, whereas instead there should be smart panels, which would make learning more interactive and keep students engaged. Exams are held about two months after the semester begins — first internals and then externals. There is generally a two-month gap between the two. I believe the difficulty level depends on how deeply we understand the concepts and how well we prepare, although overall the difficulty is usually easy to moderate.

The college curriculum was quite nice and i would rate it from good to very good, The syllabus is really good and covers both theoretical foundationand practical applications, which make it suitable for students aiming for industry roles or higher studies Areas of improvement include updating some subjectsmore frequently to meet the industry needs.Teaching methods could also be improved by using more interactive sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.
