About My College

I had chosen the course myself but this year due to NEP we had 7 subjects which is kinda difficult for us to study .only 2 subject are main that are major and minor rest changes as per semester, so last year my multidisciplinary subject was Geography in 1st sem and then Geology in 2nd semester. There must be some changes in course. 1. Shortage must not be 75% it becomes difficult for students . 2. Teaching method must have to be improved.. Colleges have a semester of 6 months, they give information in 1 to 2 months and after some time in the semester, papers start..they should give some more time for preparation. The difficultly level of exams are not much... kinda easy paper . In minor exams the time limit is one hour and in major 2.5 hour . Sometimes time is problem too ... As I'm humanities student and we hv to write in length but sometimes due to time shortage weren't able to write much contents but overall my experience in college was good

I had taken admission in 2023 and since the course charges annual fees, I had paid around Rs 10000 for one year and apx. 10, 500 in the 2nd year. Fee structure basically depend upon the course. There is no change in the category wise fee, everyone will have to pay the fee as per there particular course.

If I talk about campus then campus does not look much special.. it is very normal one. On the other 2nd ground there is a small one and the second one is quite big which connects with the boys hostel. Our college is quite old and its infrastructure is undergoing construction work and there are many changes going on...and the best part is our auditorium.. The college has a library where there is enough seating space where children can study comfortably and there is also a badminton court. about extracurricular activities, badminton, basketball, cricket, volleyball etc are there.

I had to take Delhi University admission but due to some circumstances I changed my plan and then I chose college in Jammu.. I had only 2 options women college and Mam college..then I decided to take admission in Mam. college. In comparison to amother colleges in jammu . Mam is far better than other college.. I did not got any rejection from any college actually scored around 95% in my 12th boards so I'm capable to took admission in any college around india . But circumstances make me to chose mam college over all the college in the india. So, admission process is so simple . There are 2 ways to took admission Firstly Cuet and 2nd one cut off. i got admission from both ways . I scored a very good in my cuet So for me it was so easy to took admission. My overall experience was okok..i didn't got any difficulty in my admission process... For my course sociology exam and english is must if we see from cuet side .

It is a 4 year degree and there are 2 semesters in every year and there are 2 exams in every semester, one minor which is an internal paper and the other major which is external.Even if a child fails in the internal exam, he can give a retest but for external he should not have any shortage in any subject and his internal paper should be passed. If any student fail in any subject then he has to Firstly fill reappear form and then has to give paper again next year. The faculty i liked most is Sociolog department , the reason is my favourite subject is sociology and professor of sociology are so cooperative and understanding. Faculty i don't like is English .. English department is kinda rude and has alot of attitude. Overall experience is good in college.
