Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The curriculum is flexible enough to meet my needs. It is practically useful for me.It also meets its objectives. All this influenced me and makes me to choose this course. The curriculum is designed to equip me with the knowledge and skills that i need to succeed in future academic pursuits and in life beyond school. It includes not only academic content but also important life skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. There should be some areas where there should be improvement in curriculum like:curriculum implementation, curriculum mapping, etc. Exams held 2 times in each semester which includes one minor and other major exam. The difficulty of the exam ranges from easy to moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite affordable. For B.A course it is around Rs.10,000 an year. There's some relaxation in fee for reserved categories like SC, ST, Single girl child etc. Apart from fee, there's no extra charge or tution fee. The college also offers scholarships to students from low-income groups, RBA, frontier students, and students with disabilities. In addition to scholarships, the college provides financial assistance from the Mutual Benefit Fund, which is funded by the state government and UGC funds

Campus Life

3

Annual festivals and cultural awareness programs are held regularly. In library every book is available to you related to your curriculum and even for extracurricular activities. Smart classrooms for last year students are also there to learn more better. Once can even go for sports activities and also participate in extracurricular activities like NCC. Regular inter-college sports competitions are held. There's no student-run social groups or clubs are there.

Admission

I have just applied for that college only and not any other college and i received admission in it. I chose this college because of nearness. The admission process is quite easy. You should firstly apply online for the admission in the course you have to opt. Then according to the merit of marks obtained in CUET exams, the course is allotted from the courses preferred by you. Minimum 12th class passed out student is eligibility for admission.

Faculty

3

The faculity-to-student ratio is 1:100 for every student there is 1 teacher. The faculty is approachable easily but there's a lack of relationship with them. Mrs.Atiya noor, Mrs.shivi Mehra and Mr.Shabir Ahmed are good and even teach with interest. Some professors like Mrs.Anupama, Mrs.Seema jamwal seems less interested in teaching and should improve themselves in teaching terms. Under UGC, there are 2 exams in each semester. One is minor exam and the other is major exam. The difficulty level of exam is easy to moderate. The curriculum of course is good and as per the latest guidelines.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen the course myself but this year due to NEP we had 7 subjects which is kinda difficult for us to study .only 2 subject are main that are major and minor rest changes as per semester, so last year my multidisciplinary subject was Geography in 1st sem and then Geology in 2nd semester. There must be some changes in course. 1. Shortage must not be 75% it becomes difficult for students . 2. Teaching method must have to be improved.. Colleges have a semester of 6 months, they give information in 1 to 2 months and after some time in the semester, papers start..they should give some more time for preparation. The difficultly level of exams are not much... kinda easy paper . In minor exams the time limit is one hour and in major 2.5 hour . Sometimes time is problem too ... As I'm humanities student and we hv to write in length but sometimes due to time shortage weren't able to write much contents but overall my experience in college was good

I chose this course because the university was in my home town. The difficulty of exams was not at that level as highly ranked national University and the curriculum needs a bit improvement so that more things which can help in further studies and competitive exams can be studied. The exams were conducted not at s regular interval because our course was lagging behind die to COVID-19

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just love philosophy and sociology. For that reason i go for this course only for that reason i got influenced to choose Bachelor of arts inspite of any other course This course also helps to go deep into the subject to study its nature and scope. Which help the student to learn more and more about the topic. If we talk about Further academic pursuits there is a huge variety of scope Like MA, MBA etc. one can go for MBA or go for MA anything which he or she thinks has a vibe scope in. The course curriculum is good.. but also it should include some additional trainings or teaching. Where students develop any skill which further helps them to provide any employment.. The exams are not difficult they are so lengthy like for example we have to write 5 answers which has a marking of 12 numbers. So for that we need to write 5-6 pages per question to got even 9-10 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum in terms of relevance was so good as it added my options of further academic pursuits.every subject in the course was relevant to eachother. The course was good so in my opinion they don't need to do any further improvement but yes teaching methods was slightly old i suggest them to try AI methods in teaching and go more digital which I think will help the students.for exam timings they know the students have to give six semesters so students needs the proper time to prepare.
