Remarks

I had to do graduation from somewhere and this was the nearest college so I took admission there and also many of my friends were joining this college. So that made me join this college nothing interesting about that college to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was good, the number of students were so much, so it was a challenging task to submit assignments and fees and the admission forms and all, average faculties and teachers were also average but I've heard everything has improved now

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

0.5

No company visited or offered placement and job opportunities, no placement departments for any students it was just for graduation degree.

College Events

Campus Life was good and healthy, there were fresher's party, farewells and events like live show, sports and althletics tournaments. Campaigns, rallies and voting for elections of college president was held.

Campus Life

There are lot of trees so it's nice to sit in the shade during summers, it has a basketball court and football ground, NCC and NSS available, sports and althletics tournaments are also held. Library size is good enough and process for issuing book is easy. I was commerce student so didn't got the chance to visit labs.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
