Remarks

Deboraj Roy College is affiliated by Dibrugarh University and NAAC A grade rewarded. This is the best college in Golaghat. The teaching and learning quality is excellent in this college. So that I choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

From last year our college started CBCS course. This course syllabus is prepared by Dibrugarh University in the base of students priority . The course is excellent. Our college has excellent teaching faculties.

Placement rate of Deboraj Roy College is good. Many students get seats in Assam's top university's like GU, TU, Dibrugarh University, Assam University etc. after passed out. Many others get jobs in government and private sectors.

The campus of Deboraj Roy College Known as "Debodaru Nagari". The campus is very much beautiful. Our college is very supportive in students extra curricular talents. Every year college organise many cultural, literature, sports, technical etc. events where college encourage students to participate.

Specific aspects of the curriculum is that our college tried to give internship to the students. It is average the curriculum prepare me for the real world applications. It is better for us teacher explain theory by doing practical in lab. The frequency is fast so exam is little bit difficult

Course Curriculum Overview:

• I always loved plants, trees and forest as my father is from Forest background. So, I wanted to walk on his footsteps and do something is same background. I always dreamt of making a change in the society and serve the society so I choose Botany subject. •The curriculum is planned in such a way that we learn both theoretically and practically, we go on field trips where we interact with common people and do surveys that will help us in future while working on the department •There is no such areas that needs improvement, I like the way it is going on and the teaching method is also nice, only the thing is there should not be so many classes in one day, as a student gets very exhaust •The frequency and timing of exams is that in sessional its 25 marks with 1 hour 30 minutes and its easy to moderate, and 2nd is final which is of 50 marks with 2 hours 30 minutes and its moderate to hard

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

The college is unique because the facilities are really good. This college is also provides the hostel facilities tot he students who come here for study from different cities or states. The food served in the canteen is of different varieties.
