Remarks

Deboraj Roy College is the best college in Golaghat and affiliated to Dibrugarh University. After completed my 10+2 I want to study higher in my home town. So that Deboraj Roy College was the best choice for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

Like the other colleges of Assam, our Deboraj Roy College introduce CBCS course from last year. But CBCS course creat burden for us. Moreover the syllabus is prepared base on exam and marks. It can't give the knowledge that help us in our carrier.

Placement Experience

Our college is a undergraduate college. Many of our ex students successfully get seats in top university's like Dibrugarh University, Gauhati University, Tezpur University, NEHU etc. Moreover some students get jobs after passed out.

College Events

Deboraj Roy College is called " Debodaru Nagar " because of the beauty of our college campus. Every year our college organise many co curricular programs that help students mental, intellectual, physical skills and talents.

Thoughts regarding my college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 5th semester.Various companies come for placement like HDFC bank and more.The package that was offered was around 2lpa in 2024.During our time placement drive was organised in 5th semester but the companies demanded immediate joining which was not possible for us to join since we were already left with one more semester to complete .

Placements are good . Around 60% students gets placed. More than 250+ companies visits. Many students are preferring DS and Non Tech roles after graduation ( for core branches ) and they are getting good opporutunities in them aswell.

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

My recalls with Assam women's University

Admission:

My course period for B.A. Psychology in Assam Women's University was relatively decent and leisure. I memorized a bunch of things and got orientation to a new territory assisting me to grow and memorize better. The thing I liked was that the university provided diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses for all streams as applied science, arts, technology, industry, commerce, management, and social science. The university also has proper infrastructure.

1st you have to Form fillup,where you have to fillup your previous Examination Marks, after that A merit list will published, than in a specific date you have to go to admission.You have to pay some money to admit in our college.

Good college. Its the best college near my home. Its graded A by NAAC. This college have good result always under Dibrugarh University. Not so far from my home. A beautiful campas the college have. The college is on the periphery of town. Thats why it has good environment. The students can concentrate in the class. Good facility of toilets. 24×7 hrs water.
