Extracurricular activities are the best in the college. Technical fest, events and club activities are very encouraging and improve students' soft skills. Many activities are interesting and also students participating from other colleges like it very much. Scholarships are provided to the eligible students every year.

Faculty in our college are knowledgeable, but only a few had the teaching skills. Teaching aids like presentation and demonstration were also used. They also attend technical seminars and update their knowledge with the latest trends. Periodic evaluations are conducted which help students score high. The student to faculty ratio was reasonable. Individual attention is paid to the students. Extra efforts were also put by teachers to provide academic support to students. Tutor system is the best in NEC. I can never forget my tutors in my life.

Placements were pretty good. And the end of the day it was all about the skill which we were able to exhibit during our placements. The placement cell brought in some huge packaged companies visiting us. Communication and interpersonal skills were the basic requirements from the recruitment side. Overall the placement was good with a the highest of 6L package. Some nameable companies are Tech mahindra, TCS, Infoview, zogo, cognizant.

The college has spacious classrooms and auditorium. There is an excellent library, and it is the best part of NEC. Sports and games are available in the college at an average level. There are well-equipped labs, and they are updated whenever needed as per the curriculum. There are separate hostels for both men and women. Hostels have moderate facilities only. Excellent bus services are provided for day scholars. Food provided in the canteen is hygienic, and snacks and refreshments are available all the time.

The campus atmosphere is pleasant with peacocks roaming around and making the place look elegant. There are canteens at walkable distance from every departments. All classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Free Wi-Fi throughout the campus. The college has provided with a separate play ground for hockey, football and basketball. Also there is an indoor stadium for shuttle and other indoor games. Gym facility is there both in hostels as well as a common gym in college so that it could be used by the day scholars too. It's a wide spaced college with a huge auditorium.
