Remarks

Deboraj Roy College is one of the famous colleges of Assam. The college is near our district. It is a famous college of Assam and the department of Assamese is the best among the colleges of upper Assam. Most of NAAC gave A grade to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is very good but little hard. It is prepared by Dibrugarh University. Our teaching quality is very good. Professor's of our college very educated. They teach us very well. They are also loyal and strict. This faculties of our college is very excellent.

Course Fees: INR 8560 per year

Placement Experience

Our college has excellent placement rate. Many Students from our college able to secure seats in Assam and North East's top university's. But job opportunities of our college is very low. Very few students get jobs after passed out. Hardly a job fair held in our college.

College Events

Our college known as " Debadaru Nagar". Because our college surrounded by many Debadaru tress and it created beautiful scenario in our college campus. Our college organise many cultural, literature, sports etc events to develop our talents.

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

Assam University is a good University

Placement Experience:

The placements are okay okay. Not very good companies come to recruit students of final year. Only MBA students get a high package salary in a good company. Other departments don't get these much of placements as compared to MBA.
