Remarks

Union Christian College is a well maintained Aided college in Ernakulam nationally accredited with A grade in the fourth Naac cycle. The college extends a wide scope for academics, sports and culture as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is bounded by six semesters including theory and practicals in the last 4 semesters. The end semester exams along with practical lab exams is conducted. The marking is based on choice based credit system 20 internal marks and 80 external marks contributing to the total cgpa. Faculty of the college is highly experienced.

Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement Cell in the college organises placement drives from top recruiters including Chegg India, Wipro, Tcs, Mahindra, T.I.M.E, Infosys, Jio Reliance, Wright International Aviation management and South Indian Bank. About 120 students got placed in the year 2019-20.

College Events

Campus Atmosphere is well apt for experiencing the real college life that every student dreams for. Campus politics is active inside the college. There are cultural events like fests, arts week, college day, union day. All students gets opportunity to participate in these events.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I take admission in the year 2022 through mgu cap. Our college is aided so, comparatively less fees than other self financing colleges. Our college that distinguished itself it's cosmopolitan ans secular ethos, Christian and humanistic values, residential life and interdenominational management etc...the admission is done through the mahathama Gandhi university site named mgu cap.
