Remarks

Best colleges in our town, all the teachers were very good,college administration was also good, separate common room for boys and girls with lots of playing kits like carromboard, table tennis etc.washroom was very good, coming to the drinking water section ,in our college there are two chiller purifier which give us pure water,also the staff are good, library facilities available. playground are also there.so i think it's a best college in our town

Placement Experience

At our times there very few companies visited in our college but now lots of companies visited this college like ICICI,HDFC etc.also they offer some handsome amount of money to the candidates.coming to my batchmates one of my friend got offer from a reputed bank but he refused to join because he want to study masters.

College Events

There are so many events held in karimganj college like annual festival,GS(GENERAL SECRETARY) night,Fresser's welcome programme etc.most of this programme managed by the student union with the help of college administration.

Fees and Financial Aid

Minority and SC/OBC scholarship are available from time to time given by government.i can't sure about loan facility but at our times there are no loan favility available in our college but can take loan from various organizations.

Campus Life

Sports facilities is not up to the mark but not i can say its below average.tennis court are available in this college.till date wifi not available.but i think very soon it will be installed. equipment in labs are satisfactory.the practical examination of science held every time in this college,by this you can get an idea that this lab have a large amount of equipments.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility available but I haven't opted for Hostel as i lived in the same town so i didn't take hostel.as far i know about hostel services are average also the food provided by the hostel.so think twice before take hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers should condier the students who do not understand Assamese and try to use it as less as possible during the class for the convenience of the student who do not understand the language at all. The frequency and timing of the exam is quite good and I would like it to be the way it is.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good here top companies visit every year offer lot of packages. The placements generally starts from 7th semester and continue till end of 8th semester. Mainly the highest package is offered by tech companies and last year it was about 52 LPA. The average package is about 14LPA for Electronics and Instrumentation branch. And 52 LPA is highest. Almost 85-90% students get placed.

RGU- The Place to be for an all round experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that is followed there is in accordance to ugc norms, that means its similar to Delhi University syllabus. Because of the syllabus in BA, it helped me to crack the PG entrance of DU. Although for humanities students they could include more practical learning as well.

Placement Experience:

The CACHAR college provide very good placement to the student in every year. in every year almost 10 to 20 student got placement in various company. Last year TCS and Mahindra company visited our college and required the student from the college. All the recuited student percentage more than 75%.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is very good which almost 100% placement rates in almost all majority courses. Our department start hospital placement from 5th semester onwards. Our college itself also has an outpatient department which helps in practical training of ourselves. Hostel placements in the nursing department starts from first semester itself.

The practical learning of the subject. It provides quite deeo learning into each subject. As the course provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge it becomes quite easy to apply the knowledge to further academic of occupational pursuits. Also it provides 3 months internship after the completion of the course. The improvement areas are the teaching methods of some subjects like pharmacognosy, social pharmacy, etc. Exams are conducted in a time interval of every 2-3 months. The duration of the session exams are 1and half hours while that of final exam is 3 hours for each subject.

Life in GIPS

Placement Experience:

In the 8th semister, students will eligible for campus placement. Our college will organize campus placement. Where different companies come and if you pass the interview then you will get the job. Companys like sun pharma, Ajanta pharma will come. And they have different requirements. In starting you will get 2.5 lakhs of the package and other offers are there. In GIPS most of the students get the placement. My plan after b pharm is I will study for M pharm in GIPS.

The college infrastructure and teaching quality is good in comparison of other local college and the college teachers are good and friendly with the college student. And the negative things is that there is no boys hostel.
