Remarks

The students and faculty were very friendly to me when I went to apply in the college. Even my parents feel that the college is very prestigious and worth studying in also the laboratory and instruments are very efficient.The college makes so much of efforts for personal and professional growth of each and every student

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and the curriculum are both well defined by Mumbai university apart from that our college conducted lots of seminar which were syllabus related and personally helped me a lot to gain knowledge about my subjects.

Placement Experience

As a First Year student, I genuinely don't have much idea on how it works, but they do provide us with lot of internship and after MSc the placements are in companies like Wipro and other big companies.

College Events

As a science student I am so inculcated into my own studies that I seldomly notice the fest and events happening around. Still I can say there is an annual fest which occurs every year and also there is a Science fest called "Sci-code" which happened last year and students participated not only from our college but from colleges of Mumbai

Campus Life

There is a library, cafeteria, Physics, chemistry(JC, FY and SY Bsc, TYBsc and MSc lab seperate), lifesciences, Microbiology(BSc and MSc seperate ), IT, CS, Biology labs, Girls common room, washroom at each and every floor, Seminar hall, Multimedia room and much more

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

Life learning by the sea

I had applied for 3 colleges- Patkar college, Sophia and KC. I got selected in all three colleges but just because i wanted to experience travelling I decided to take KC.
