Remarks

The college is surely a value for money. I chose law as it is the most important part of our life and learning it helps us being confident and a righteous person. The campus crowd is great and the fests and events like Mun and Moot are a regular part of college. College promotes scholarship and extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The institution is excellent with many brilliant faculty members. Various committees have setup into the working of each course faculty. There is no fault in the faculty members. All the study materials given to the students are handmade by the faculty, and it helps us to get all the irrelevant information

Course Fees: INR 447000 per year

Placement Experience

Approximately 70 percent of the students gets a good package job after studying here. Many companies visit our college such as Karanjhewala and many more. In our college nearly 90 percent of the students got internship in India's leading companies. We can easily secure position at law firms.

Kirori Mal - The way I see it

Placement Experience:

The placements at Kirori Mal College are respectable and are getting better. The fifth semester is typically when students become eligible for campus placements. Numerous well known bussineses like Deloitte, KPMG, EY et. Approximately 50-60% of students are placed through campus drives each year. The average package is approxiamtely 5-7 lakhs per year. After getting the degree I plan on applying for a masters degree in the same field.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

The course is good but placement is very bad in the campus. The frequency of exams is 2 hours or 3 hours depends on the credit of that subject. The exam level is of moderate level. We had pass the exam studying 1 week before the exam.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
