Remarks

This is one of the affordable government college for this subject. The fees structure is quiet moderate for middle class student and it is well reputed in entire kolkata and the teaching faculty is very well

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty provided by our college is very good, the course we are doing has lot of demand in geographical sector and overall the syllabus prescribed by the university of Calcutta is very challenging for the students as it is very tough.

My college is a government college so we don't get much good placements as government colleges can't have placement system. The students who get good placements are due to their own capable and due to our college faculty who helps the students.

My college is very good and I'm actually enjoying it, my college do holds different festival's and we also do holds college fest where other colleges are also invited and they do take part in the competitions

Our campus is average in size not so big and not so small but college infrastructure is actually Very developed then we have a sports room and common room for the students to spent our free time. Our campus is under surveillance of cctv camera, we have smart room.

Good Faculty but Average Campus Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant for beginners and covered important computer subjects like programming basics, DBMS, networking, and computer fundamentals. It helped in understanding the foundation of IT and software. However, the curriculum needs more practical sessions, coding practice, live projects and industry level skills. Exams were conducted semester wise with internal assessment, and the difficulty level was moderate. Overall the curriculum is good for basics, but it should be updated with more modern topics and practical learning.

Budget Best College For Students in Sonarpur

Placement Experience:

Mostly what i know, from 7th or 8th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. Wipro, TCS, etc are the companies who come to recruit students from this college. The highest package is like 15 LPA, the average package is around 6-8 LPA. 50-60% of students get placement. After the degree, if i get the job i would like to purse MCA, while doing my job.

All our professors were very helpful and kind to everyone. They were always one step forward in helping us in every way possible. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. Our course curriculum had data analysis and econometrics, which every company looks for. The topics taught were relevant. Semester exams were not very easy, but our professors prepared us in every way. The pass percentage was approximately 85%. Students were among the top-ranked in the city.
