Remarks

I chose this College. I wanted to study BBA and the best thing about the course is that the most part is practical and not just theory-based, which gives you an idea of how things work even before you step into the corporate world and this college has a good reputation for the subjects they offer.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are quite fairly qualified, knowledgeable, as well as helpful. The course curriculum is very much relevant as the curriculum is designed keeping in mind the top-notch B-schools in the country.

Placement Experience

Technically all the students get placed off-campus if not on campus. The salary package varies from 2.5 to 5 LPA. Mostly, banks and finance companies come to recruit students. Everybody gets an internship. Companies like Kotak Mahindra and aviation companies like Indigo recruit students.

College Events

There is a fair amount of extracurricular activities, not just cultural but also field related fests, its a kind of balanced everything, but generally the annual fest is the best where mostly everyone enjoys and business events are mainly boring.

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
