Remarks

As per my field of education i.e. Psychology, this University has well valued degree, furthermore, the quality of education is unlike any other college you will ever visit in Delhi. Perhaps, everything is very unique here. Progressive state of dialogues between students and teachers, freedom to express views fearlessly, interactive forms of education and much more resides in this University. The faculty, to the center, is very progressive and teachers are helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very effective and at the same time very lenient. Faculty is exceptionally progressive with right moral values and open perspectives. Academics spares us time to engage in extra curricular activities as well and at the same time knows how to make sure to give every inch of information necessary.

Internships Opportunities

I have interned at a few places, with no stipend as BA students mostly dont get that. With Power within, Fortis Hospital, Bookwallah Organization, Allysk company and SWAN.

Placement Experience

I have no idea regarding anything as such. People dont end up having jobs right away. But as prominent in Psychology, AUD has therapy cell called 'Ehsaas' which is run by AUD members including teachers and Mphil students. And teachers have theatre production which goes supreme whenever produced. People can become whatever they want afterwards not as such the University provides any placement. or I dont know yet.

College Events

Live. Campus life is vibrant. Events keep on happening every day where some are very political due to this emergence of AUD SFI who keeps on taking space every then and now to do something and has made the campus very political which many people dont appreciate. Other creative events are very interesting including theatre events by MA students.

Its old, its heritage, its unique. Sports facilities are now growing. Wifi is not available. Library is very vast and huge and informative. Labs are okayish. Water system is fine only. Canteen has cheap food not cheaper than JNU. Grounds are not huge. Its pretty concise. Classroom are okayish as well. Conclusion- this college is not and will never be known for its infrastructure, if one wants to look for it, dont keep this in option. But if you want quality of lifestyle and education with ethnic touch to it, its the best.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

Average package company offered is 500000. as for internships only 5th semester in 2nd year are eligible for applying in internships.

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering
No crowded place professors support in projects and guides you to get better placement

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Likes

The opportunity of placements are very good.
Faculty is very helpful and strict at the same time.
The privilage of free treatments for students and their families.

Dislikes

The campus is small and no fests are there.
No canteen is there and only badminton court there .
Girls hostel is there but not so comfortable it is.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the best part of this whole course. Placements are provided vy the college, at the end of the course which is of duration of 4.5 years. The placements can be at Govt. Hospitals, like AIIMS.

Remarks:

Faculties of this institute are good and helps in understanding each and every thing clearly and also it is near to my house. Campus is also good with every facility that a student needs. This college also provide teaching material to students so that they can get their concepts clear even at the time of exams.

A real Guide to AUD

I applied to DU and Christ University. I did not choose DU as the college i got was not that good in terms of faculty and overall environment and infra. Admission process at AUD is quite simple, much like DU. They used to have interviews, but now they don't for majority courses. I went to AUD for their curriculum.
