Remarks

Seniors suggested and also a very few colleges offering this course,and heard that they also gave good placements.They provide new and modern technology of learning.side by side they offer free language classes

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing bba sports management,where our college provide us with the latest information about sports and business management.all the faculties are very good.They give extra classes to us before exams,provides lots of notes which are very helpful

Class Size: 31Course Fees: INR 310000 per year

College Events

Every month they organise different sports tournaments,and each year we celebrate the freshers party where our college invest a lot.They also organise nature camps where every one can participate.Each year we went for a picnic with all department students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scheme in our college where the college will pay our fees,and late we will pay the same amount monthly or yearly to the college without any extra costs.I didn't opted this option but my classmates take this opportunity.

Campus Life

In our college there are free wifi for students,computer labs,badminton court,auditorium a huge library.Two separate toilets for both boys and girls in each floor.And the college was covered by full of gardens

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur. Most of the colleges offer an M.A. or M.Sc. in Applied Psychology. NSHM Durgapur and Kolkata offer M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology.
